耶和華諭以色列人曰、我豈未拯爾於埃及亞摩利亞捫非利士人乎、

The Lord replied,“ When the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The Lord replied,“ The Egyptians and Amorites treated you badly. So did the Ammonites and Philistines.

And the Lord said to the people of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the Ammonites and from the Philistines?

The Lord replied,“ Did I not rescue you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the Lord said to the sons of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the sons of Ammon, and the Philistines?

So the Lord said to the children of Israel,“ Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites and from the people of Ammon and from the Philistines?

And Jehovah said unto the children of Israel, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The Lord said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

Yahweh said to the children of Israel,“ Didn’t I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

那天，耶和華就這樣從埃及人手中拯救了以色列人。後來，以色列人還看見埃及人的屍體橫在海邊。

以笏之後，亞拿的兒子珊迦拯救了以色列人。他曾用一根趕牛棍殺了六百名非利士人。

以色列人派使者去見亞摩利王西宏，說：「請允許我們從貴國經過，我們只走大路，不會踏入田地和葡萄園，也不會喝井裡的水，直到走出貴國的土地。」但西宏拒絕了他們的請求，並招聚軍隊到曠野攻擊他們。兩軍在雅雜交鋒。以色列人殺了西宏，佔領了他的土地——從亞嫩河到雅博河，遠至防守嚴密的亞捫人邊界。以色列人攻佔了亞摩利人的所有城邑，包括希實本及其周圍的村莊，住在其中。

以色列人憑信心渡過紅海，如履乾地，埃及人試圖過去，卻被海水淹沒。

從前，雅各曾遷到埃及，你們的祖先受到埃及人的壓迫，向耶和華呼求，耶和華就差遣摩西和亞倫帶領他們離開埃及，來到這裡居住。

祂毀滅列國，殺戮強大的君王：亞摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩和迦南所有的君王。

此後，國內安享太平四十年，直到俄陀聶去世。之後，以色列人又做耶和華視為惡的事，耶和華就使摩押王伊磯倫強盛起來，攻打以色列人。伊磯倫聯合亞捫人和亞瑪力人進攻以色列人，佔據了棕樹城，以色列人受摩押王伊磯倫統治十八年。他們呼求耶和華，耶和華就使一位名叫以笏的拯救者興起。他是便雅憫人基拉的兒子，善用左手。以色列人派他去向摩押王伊磯倫進貢。

但祂為了自己的名拯救了他們，以彰顯祂的大能。祂斥責紅海，海就乾了，祂帶領他們走過深淵，如履乾地。祂救他們逃脫敵人的追趕，從仇敵的手中救贖了他們。海水淹沒了敵軍，沒有一人生還。

耶和華的天使從吉甲來到波金，對以色列人說：「我帶你們離開埃及，領你們去我起誓要賜給你們祖先的土地。我說，『我永不廢棄跟你們立的約，你們不可跟這裡的居民立約，要毀掉他們的祭壇。』可是你們為什麼不聽呢？因此，我告訴你們，我必不趕走這裡的居民，他們必成為你們肋旁的刺，他們的神明必成為你們的網羅。」

於是，以色列人殺了噩及其兒子和人民，一個不留，並奪取了他的國土。

「你看見我們祖先在埃及所受的苦，又聽見他們在紅海邊的呼求，就行神蹟奇事對付法老及其所有的臣僕和國民，因為你知道他們對以色列人行事狂傲。你使自己威名遠揚直到今日。你在我們祖先面前把海水分開，使他們在海中走乾地過去；你把追趕他們的人扔進深海，好像把石頭扔進大水中。

祂擊殺了埃及人所有的長子，就是含帳篷中頭生的兒子。祂領出自己的子民，好像領出羊群，引領他們經過曠野，使他們一路平安，免受驚嚇，大海卻淹沒了他們的仇敵。
