主諭以色列人曰、我豈未曾救爾於伊及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人、非利士人乎、

The Lord replied,“ When the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The Lord replied,“ The Egyptians and Amorites treated you badly. So did the Ammonites and Philistines.

And the Lord said to the people of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the Ammonites and from the Philistines?

The Lord replied,“ Did I not rescue you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the Lord said to the sons of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the sons of Ammon, and the Philistines?

So the Lord said to the children of Israel,“ Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites and from the people of Ammon and from the Philistines?

And Jehovah said unto the children of Israel, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The Lord said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel,[ Did] not[ I deliver you] from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ Did I not deliver you from Egypt, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

Yahweh said to the children of Israel,“ Didn’t I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

那天，耶和华就这样从埃及人手中拯救了以色列人。后来，以色列人还看见埃及人的尸体横在海边。

以笏之后，亚拿的儿子珊迦拯救了以色列人。他曾用一根赶牛棍杀了六百名非利士人。

以色列人派使者去见亚摩利王西宏，说：“请允许我们从贵国经过，我们只走大路，不会踏入田地和葡萄园，也不会喝井里的水，直到走出贵国的土地。”但西宏拒绝了他们的请求，并招聚军队到旷野攻击他们。两军在雅杂交锋。以色列人杀了西宏，占领了他的土地——从亚嫩河到雅博河，远至防守严密的亚扪人边界。以色列人攻占了亚摩利人的所有城邑，包括希实本及其周围的村庄，住在其中。

以色列人凭信心渡过红海，如履干地，埃及人试图过去，却被海水淹没。

从前，雅各曾迁到埃及，你们的祖先受到埃及人的压迫，向耶和华呼求，耶和华就差遣摩西和亚伦带领他们离开埃及，来到这里居住。

祂毁灭列国，杀戮强大的君王：亚摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩和迦南所有的君王。

此后，国内安享太平四十年，直到俄陀聂去世。之后，以色列人又做耶和华视为恶的事，耶和华就使摩押王伊矶伦强盛起来，攻打以色列人。伊矶伦联合亚扪人和亚玛力人进攻以色列人，占据了棕树城，以色列人受摩押王伊矶伦统治十八年。他们呼求耶和华，耶和华就使一位名叫以笏的拯救者兴起。他是便雅悯人基拉的儿子，善用左手。以色列人派他去向摩押王伊矶伦进贡。

但祂为了自己的名拯救了他们，以彰显祂的大能。祂斥责红海，海就干了，祂带领他们走过深渊，如履干地。祂救他们逃脱敌人的追赶，从仇敌的手中救赎了他们。海水淹没了敌军，没有一人生还。

耶和华的天使从吉甲来到波金，对以色列人说：“我带你们离开埃及，领你们去我起誓要赐给你们祖先的土地。我说，‘我永不废弃跟你们立的约，你们不可跟这里的居民立约，要毁掉他们的祭坛。’可是你们为什么不听呢？因此，我告诉你们，我必不赶走这里的居民，他们必成为你们肋旁的刺，他们的神明必成为你们的网罗。”

于是，以色列人杀了噩及其儿子和人民，一个不留，并夺取了他的国土。

“你看见我们祖先在埃及所受的苦，又听见他们在红海边的呼求，就行神迹奇事对付法老及其所有的臣仆和国民，因为你知道他们对以色列人行事狂傲。你使自己威名远扬直到今日。你在我们祖先面前把海水分开，使他们在海中走干地过去；你把追赶他们的人扔进深海，好像把石头扔进大水中。

祂击杀了埃及人所有的长子，就是含帐篷中头生的儿子。祂领出自己的子民，好像领出羊群，引领他们经过旷野，使他们一路平安，免受惊吓，大海却淹没了他们的仇敌。
