Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

弟兄姊妹，不要彼此批評。批評、論斷弟兄姊妹就等於是批評、論斷律法。如果你論斷律法，你就不是遵行律法的人，而是以審判者自居。

所以，時候未到，不可妄下斷語。到主耶穌再來的時候，祂會揭開暗中的隱情，使人心裡的動機顯露。到時候上帝會給各人應得的稱讚。

同樣，當你們看見這一切事發生時，就知道人子快來了，就在門口。

不可報復，不可埋怨同胞，要愛鄰如己。我是耶和華。

要互相接待，不發怨言，

但他們將來必須向審判活人和死人的主交帳。

我們不要自高自大、彼此惹氣、互相嫉妒。

各人心裡想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉強，不要為難。因為捐得甘心樂意的人才是上帝所喜愛的。

「不要論斷別人，免得你們被論斷。因為你們怎樣論斷別人，也必照樣被論斷；你們用什麼尺度衡量別人，也要用什麼尺度衡量你們。

「如果你們饒恕別人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們的過犯。如果你們不饒恕別人的過犯，你們的天父也不會饒恕你們的過犯。

因為全部的律法可以總結成一句話：「要愛鄰如己」。

發生在他們身上的這些事都是鑑戒，之所以記錄下來是為了警戒我們這活在末世的人。

如果你做得對，難道不會蒙悅納嗎？如果你做得不對，罪就蹲在你的門口要控制你，但你必須制伏罪。」

同樣，當你們看見這些事情發生時，就知道人子快來了，就在門口。

希羅底對約翰懷恨在心，想要殺掉他，只是不能得逞。
