所以，弟兄们，你们应当忍耐，直到主来。看哪，农夫等待着地里宝贵的出产，为它忍耐，直到获得秋霖春雨。

所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。

兄弟乎、宜恆忍以待主臨、試觀農人冀地之嘉產、恆忍以待、至得前後之雨、

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.

所以，我们既然有这么多的见证人，像云彩围绕着我们，就应该脱下各样的拖累，和容易缠住我们的罪，以坚忍的心奔跑那摆在我们面前的赛程；专一注视耶稣，就是那位信心的创造者和完成者。他因为那摆在面前的喜乐，就忍受了十字架，轻看了羞辱，现在就坐在神宝座的右边。这位忍受罪人那样顶撞的耶稣，你们要仔细思想，免得疲倦灰心。

锡安的人民哪！你们要欢喜，要靠耶和华你们的神快乐，因为他赐给了你们合时的秋雨。他给你们降下时雨，就是秋雨春雨，像以前一样。

你们也应当忍耐，坚定自己的心；因为主再来的日子近了。弟兄们，不要彼此抱怨，免得你们受审判。看哪，审判的主已经站在门前了。

我们行善，不要觉得厌烦；如果不松懈，到了适当的时候，就有收成。

他们心里也不想想：‘我们应当敬畏耶和华我们的神，他按时赐雨，就是秋雨春霖，又为我们保存定时收割的节令。’

我们靠着圣灵，凭着信，热切等候所盼望的义。

我们主耶稣再来的时候，我们在他面前的盼望、喜乐或所夸耀的冠冕是什么呢？不就是你们吗？

反而在各样的事上，表明自己是神的仆人，就如持久的忍耐、患难、贫乏、困苦、鞭打、监禁、扰乱、劳苦、不睡觉、禁食、

这样，亚伯拉罕耐心等待，终于获得了所应许的。

电光怎样从东方闪出来，一直照到西方，人子降临的时候，也是这样。

以永生报答那些耐心行善、寻求荣耀尊贵和不朽的人，

让我们认识，竭力追求认识耶和华。他必定出现，像晨光一样，他必临到我们，如雨水一般，又像滋润大地的春雨。

依照他荣耀的大能得着一切能力，带着喜乐的心，凡事忍耐宽容；

所以，你们也要准备妥当，因为在想不到的时候，人子就来了。

我告诉你们，他要快快地给他们伸冤。然而人子来的时候，在世上找得到这种信心吗？”

“他要降临的应许在哪里呢？因为自从列祖睡了以来，万物依然存在，与起初创造的时候一样。”

也愿他坚定你们的心，好叫你们在我们主耶稣和众圣徒再来的时候，在我们的父神面前，完全圣洁，无可指摘。

在春雨的季节，你们要向耶和华求雨。耶和华闪发雷电，给人降雨，使各人的田地生长蔬菜。

我们得救时就存着这盼望；但是看得见的盼望不是盼望，因为谁会盼望自己看见了的呢？但如果我们盼望没有看见的，就会耐心地热切期待。

在我们的父神面前，不住地记念你们信心的工作，爱心的劳苦和因盼望我们主耶稣基督而有的坚忍。

从前经上所写的，都是为教训我们而写的，好使我们藉着忍耐和圣经中的安慰得着盼望。

那时，他们要看见人子，带着能力，满有荣耀，驾着云降临。

但那落在好土里的，就是人用诚实良善的心来听，把道持守住，忍耐着结出果实。

以致你们在恩赐上一无所缺，殷切盼望着我们主耶稣基督的显现；
