You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

你们定了义人的罪，把他杀害，他也不抵挡你们。

You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

You have judged and murdered people who aren’t guilty. And they weren’t even opposing you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.

You have condemned and killed innocent people, who do not resist you.

You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous, who does not resist you.

You have condemned and put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.

You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.

Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one; he doth not resist you.

You have condemned— you have murdered— the righteous man; he does not resist you.

Ye have condemned[ and] killed the just;[ and] he doth not resist you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person, although he does not resist you.

who didn’t sin,“ neither was deceit found in his mouth.”When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

Now the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this,“ He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn’t open his mouth.

He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Jesus,“ Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.Pilate therefore said to him,“ Aren’t you speaking to me? Don’t you know that I have power to release you and have power to crucify you?”Jesus answered,“ You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin.”

But Jesus answered,“ Let me at least do this”— and he touched his ear, and healed him.Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him,“ Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

“ Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,him, being delivered up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by the hand of lawless men, crucified and killed;

But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

You lust, and don’t have. You murder and covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.

He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he didn’t open his mouth.

But you denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, to which we are witnesses.

who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and drove us out, and don’t please God, and are contrary to all men,forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.

But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

He said,‘ The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.

may it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands here before you whole in him.He is‘ the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

Therefore behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar.

They will put you out of the synagogues. Yes, the time comes that whoever kills you will think that he offers service to God.They will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Which of the prophets didn’t your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.

For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they didn’t know him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.Though they found no cause for death, they still asked Pilate to have him killed.

But you have dishonored the poor man. Don’t the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?

So when Pilate saw that nothing was being gained, but rather that a disturbance was starting, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying,“ I am innocent of the blood of this righteous person. You see to it.”All the people answered,“ May his blood be on us, and on our children!”

Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?”

But the farmers, when they saw the son, said among themselves,‘ This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and seize his inheritance.’
