刈爾田之工值、爾以詭譎不給、有聲籲呼、且刈者之呼號、已入萬軍之主之耳矣、

穫爾田之傭、不給其值、則籲呼升聞於萬有之主、

穫爾田之傭、爾不給其值、其值髣髴有聲呼籲、刈穫者之怨聲、聞於撒罷阿特主耳矣、

工人為爾收穫莊稼、爾竟欺之、而不予工資。此所欠之工資、亦將為工人鳴冤、且其聲已上達萬軍主宰之耳矣。

Look! The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty.

You have even failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields. Their pay is crying out against you. The cries of those who gathered the harvest have reached the ears of the Lord. He rules over all.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

For listen! Hear the cries of the field workers whom you have cheated of their pay. The cries of those who harvest your fields have reached the ears of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Look! The pay that you withheld from the workers who mowed your fields cries out, and the outcry of the harvesters has reached the ears of the Lord of Armies.

Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of armies.

Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

Behold, the hire of the laborers who mowed your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth out: and the cries of them that reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.

不可欺壓鄰居，也不可搶奪他的東西。要當天支付雇工的工錢，不可拖到第二天。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要來到你們當中施行審判，速速作證指控那些行邪術的、通姦的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、冤枉異鄉人的，以及不敬畏我的。

耶和華說：「約西亞的兒子猶大王約雅敬啊，你有禍了！你以不公不義的手段建造宮廷殿宇，不給工人發工錢。

以賽亞又說：「若不是萬軍之主給我們存留後裔，我們早就像所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣滅亡了。」

「不可欺壓窮苦的雇工，不論他們是你們的同胞，還是住在你們城中的外族人。你們要在每天日落前付給他們工錢，因為他們窮苦，靠工錢維生；否則他們向耶和華控訴你們，你們就有罪了。

因為他只有這件蔽體的衣服，若是沒有，他晚上如何睡覺？他若呼求我，我必定幫助他，因為我是仁慈的。

使他們赤身露體地流浪，餓著肚子扛禾捆。他們在惡人的橄欖林中榨油，口乾舌燥地在酒池踩踏。

以致窮人的呼求傳到祂那裡，祂也聽見了困苦者的呼求。

耶和華說：「你做了什麼事？你弟弟的血從地裡向我哭訴。

難道上帝聽到祂揀選的人晝夜呼求，不替他們伸冤嗎？難道祂會一直耽延不理嗎？

現在，以色列人的呼求傳到我耳中，我也看到了埃及人怎樣壓迫他們。

祂追討血債，顧念受害者，不忘傾聽受苦者的呼求。

「若我的田地向我喊冤，條條犁溝一同哭訴；若我白吃地的出產，或使地的主人喪命，

若不是萬軍之耶和華讓我們一些人存活，我們早就像所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣滅亡了。

牆上的石頭必高聲指控你們，房子的梁木必同聲回應。

過了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人受盡奴役，就哀歎呼求，聲音傳到上帝那裡。上帝聽見他們的哀聲，顧念從前跟亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約，

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列，祂所喜愛的葡萄樹就是猶大人。祂希望看到公平，卻只看見殺戮；指望看到公義，卻只聽見冤聲。

你們作主人的，對待奴僕要公平合理，別忘了你們也有一位天上的主。

「不可虧待寡婦和孤兒，倘若你們欺凌他們，他們向我呼求，我必聽他們的呼求，向你們發怒，用刀殺掉你們，使你們的妻子變為寡婦，兒女成為孤兒。
