Jesus answered them,“ I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain,‘ Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.And if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

“ Because of your little faith,” He told them.“ For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Son, your sins are forgiven.”But some of the scribes were sitting there, thinking to themselves:“ Why does He speak like this? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”Right away Jesus understood in His spirit that they were thinking like this within themselves and said to them,“ Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?Which is easier: to say to the paralytic,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’?But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He told the paralytic,“ I tell you: get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

Jesus replied to them,“ Have faith in God.I assure you: If anyone says to this mountain,‘ Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for— believe that you have received them, and you will have them.

and none there will say,“ I am sick.” The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep.If we were properly evaluating ourselves, we would not be judged,but when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic,“ Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”At this, some of the scribes said among themselves,“ He’s blaspheming!”But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus said,“ Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts?For which is easier: to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— then He told the paralytic,“ Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

After this, Jesus found him in the temple complex and said to him,“ See, you are well. Do not sin anymore, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.”

And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages.Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all do miracles?Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in other languages? Do all interpret?
