『瞎眼的領路人哪，你們有禍啊！你們說：「凡指着殿堂起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着殿堂裏的金子起誓的，就必須負責任。」傻子瞎子啊，甚麼是較大的？是金子呢？還是那使金子成聖別的殿堂呢？你們又說：「凡指着壇起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着壇上的禮物起誓的，就必須負責任。」瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是較大的？是禮物呢？還是那使禮物成聖別的壇呢？所以凡指着壇起誓的，就是指着壇和壇上的一切東西來起誓；凡指着殿堂起誓的，就是指着殿堂和那住殿堂的來起誓；凡指着天起誓的，就是指着上帝的寶座和那坐在寶座上的來起誓。

若有人餓了，要在家裏喫，免得你們聚攏來、自受定罪。其餘的事、我甚麼時候來了再規定。

最要緊的、要有彼此熱切的相愛，因為愛能掩沒許多的罪。

我的弟兄們，你們別有許多人做教師了，因為你們曉得我們必受更嚴的判斷。我們在許多事上都能有失錯；若有人在話語上沒有失錯，他就是完全的人，竟能勒制全身的。
