“你们这瞎眼领路的有祸了！你们说：‘凡指着殿起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着殿中金子起誓的，他就该谨守。’你们这无知瞎眼的人哪，什么是大的？是金子呢？还是叫金子成圣的殿呢？你们又说：‘凡指着坛起誓的，这算不得什么；只是凡指着坛上礼物起誓的，他就该谨守。’你们这瞎眼的人哪，什么是大的？是礼物呢？还是叫礼物成圣的坛呢？所以，人指着坛起誓，就是指着坛和坛上一切所有的起誓；人指着殿起誓，就是指着殿和那住在殿里的起誓；人指着天起誓，就是指着神的宝座和那坐在上面的起誓。

若有人饥饿，可以在家里先吃，免得你们聚会，自己取罪。其余的事，我来的时候再安排。

最要紧的是彼此切实相爱，因为爱能遮掩许多的罪。

我的弟兄们，不要多人作师傅，因为晓得我们要受更重的判断。原来我们在许多事上都有过失；若有人在话语上没有过失，他就是完全人，也能勒住自己的全身。
