弟兄们，不可彼此诋毁。诋毁弟兄或评断弟兄的人，就是诋毁律法，评断律法；你若评断律法，就不是遵行律法，而是评断者了。

Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

所以，你们要除去一切的恶毒，一切诡诈、假善、嫉妒，和一切毁谤的话。

愿说恶言的人在地上站立不住；愿祸患猎取残暴的人，把他打倒。

所以，你这评断人的人哪，无论你是谁，都无可推诿。你在什么事上评断人，就在什么事上定自己的罪。因你这评断人的，自己所做的却和别人一样。

弟兄们，你们不要彼此埋怨，免得受审判。看哪，审判的主站在门口了。

所以，时候未到，在主来以前什么都不要评断，他要照出暗中的隐情，揭发人的动机。那时，各人要从上帝那里得着称赞。

一切苦毒、愤怒、恼恨、嚷闹、毁谤，和一切的恶毒都要从你们中间除掉。

“你们不要评断别人，免得你们被审判。因为你们怎样评断别人，也必怎样被审判；你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。

“你们不要评断别人，就不被审判；你们不要定人的罪，就不被定罪；你们要饶恕人，就必蒙饶恕。

我怕我再来的时候，见你们不合我所期望的，而你们见我也不合你们所期望的。我怕有纷争、嫉妒、愤怒、自私、毁谤、谗言、狂傲、动乱的事。

没有亲情，抗拒和解，好说谗言，不能节制，性情凶暴，不爱良善，

可是你，你为什么评断弟兄呢？你又为什么轻看弟兄呢？因我们都要站在上帝的审判台前。经上写着：“主说，我指着我的永生起誓：万膝必向我跪拜；万口必称颂上帝。”这样看来，我们各人一定要把自己的事在上帝面前交代。

同样，女执事也必须庄重，不说闲话，有节制，凡事忠心。

这样看来，律法是圣的，诫命也是圣的、义的、善的。那么，那善的是叫我死吗？绝对不是！叫我死的是罪。罪藉着那善的叫我死，为要显出这真是罪，以致罪藉着诫命更显出是恶极了。

这样，我们要怎么说呢？律法是罪吗？绝对不是！但是，若不是藉着律法，我就不知何为罪；若不是律法说“不可贪心”，我就不知何为贪心。

吃的人不可轻看不吃的人；不吃的人也不可评断吃的人，因为上帝已经接纳他了。你是谁，竟评断别人的仆人呢？他或站立或跌倒，自有他的主人在，而且他也必会站立，因为主能使他站稳。

原来在上帝面前，不是听律法的为义，而是行律法的称义。

惟有查看那完美、使人自由的律法，并且时常遵守的，他不是听了就忘，而是切实行出来，这样的人在所行的事上必然蒙福。

又要劝年长的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人，

但是，你们要作行道的人，不要只作听道的人，自己欺骗自己。因为只听道而不行道的，就像人对着镜子观看自己本来的面目，
