弟兄們，別彼此毁謗了。毁謗弟兄或論斷弟兄的、就是毁謗律法，論斷律法。你若論斷律法，就不是遵行律法者，而是論斷者審判者了，

弟兄们，你们不可彼此批评。人若批评弟兄，论断弟兄，就是批评律法，论断律法。你若论断律法，就不是遵行律法，乃是判断人的。

弟兄们，不可彼此诋毁。诋毁弟兄或评断弟兄的人，就是诋毁律法，评断律法；你若评断律法，就不是遵行律法，而是评断者了。

Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

Don’t speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you.

所以你們既脫去了一切惡毒、一切詭詐裝假和嫉妒、以及一切毁謗的事，

願鼓舌傷人的人不能立定於地上；強暴的人、願禍患獵取他，將他打倒。

所以一切論斷人的人哪，你是無可推諉的。你在甚麼事上論斷別人，就在甚麼事上定你自己的罪；因為你這論斷人的人、正行着同樣的事。

弟兄們，別彼此埋怨了，免得受審判；你看審判者站在門前了。

所以定時未到以前、甚麼都不要論斷了；只等主來，他不但要照明暗中的隱密事，也要顯露人心中的計謀；那時應得的稱讚、自會由上帝分給各人了。

一切苦恨、暴怒、忿怒、嚷鬧、毁謗、連同一切惡毒、都要從你們中間除掉。

『你們別論斷人了，免得被論斷。因為你們怎樣論斷人，也必怎樣被論斷；你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必照甚麼量器量給你們。

『別論斷了，就決不受論斷；別定人的罪了，就決不受定罪；要釋放，你們就會得釋放；

我只怕我到你們那裏去的時候、見你們不合於我所想要的，而你們也見我不合於你們所想要的。我怕有紛爭、妒忌、暴怒、營私爭勝、毁謗、打耳喳、自吹自大、擾亂、等事。

無親情、不解怨、好說讒言、不能節制、蠻橫兇暴、不愛良善、

但是你為甚麼論斷你的弟兄呢？你又為甚麼藐視你的弟兄呢？我們眾人都必站在上帝的審判臺前呢。經上記着說：『主說：我指着永活的我來起誓，眾膝都要向我屈跪，眾舌都要承認上帝為至尊。』這樣看來，我們各人都必將自己的事向上帝供明啊。

他們的妻子也要這樣：應當莊重，不說讒言，能戒酒，凡事可信靠。

所以律法是聖的，誡命也是聖的，是義的，又是善的。那麼善是在我身上生出死來麼？斷乎不是。不，是罪，罪為要顯明它是罪，便藉着善在我身上造出死來，叫罪藉着誡命顯出它是有罪到極點的。

這樣，我們可怎麼說呢？律法是罪麼？斷乎不是。不過、若不是由於律法，我就不知道罪是甚麼。若不是律法說：「你不可貪慾」，我就不知道貪慾是甚麼。

喫的別藐視不喫的了；不喫的也別論斷喫的了；上帝已經接納他。你這論斷別人家僕的，你是誰啊？他或站穩、或跌倒，只和他自己的主人有關；況且他也是會得扶助以站穩的，因為主能使他站穩。

因為在上帝看，不是聽律法的算為義，乃是行律法的才算為無罪。

惟獨詳細察看完全的律法、使人自由的律法，並且恆常遵守着，不是聽了就忘掉，乃是實實在在行出來的；這人在他所行的事上必然有福。

勸老年婦人也要這樣：在行動舉止上要有聖役上的恭敬，不說讒言，也不做酒奴，要用好榜樣教導人，

你們要行道，不要單單聽、來迷惑自己。因為人若只是聽道、而不實行，就像一個人用鏡子察看自己生來的面貌。
