Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

你這判斷人的啊！無論你是誰，都沒有辦法推諉。你在甚麼事上判斷人，就在甚麼事上定自己的罪；因為你所作的，正是你所判斷的事。

弟兄們，不要彼此抱怨，免得你們受審判。看哪，審判的主已經站在門前了。

所以時候還沒有到，你們不要批評，直等到主來；他要照出黑暗中的隱情，顯明人心裡的動機。那時，各人要從神那裡得著稱讚。

一切苛刻、惱怒、暴戾、嚷鬧、毀謗，連同一切惡毒，都應當從你們中間除掉。

“不可判斷人，免得你們被判斷。你們怎樣判斷人，也必怎樣被判斷；你們用甚麼標準衡量人，也必照樣被衡量。

“你們不要判斷人，就必不受判斷；不要定人的罪，就必不被定罪；要饒恕人，就必蒙饒恕；

我怕我來的時候，見你們不如我所想的，你們見我也不如你們所想的。又怕有紛爭、嫉妒、惱怒、自私、毀謗、讒言、狂傲、混亂的事。

沒有親情、不肯和解、惡言中傷、不能自律、橫蠻兇暴、不愛良善、

這樣，你為甚麼批評你的弟兄呢？為甚麼又輕看你的弟兄呢？我們都要站在神的審判臺前；因為經上記著：“主說，我指著我的永生起誓：萬膝必向我跪拜，萬口必稱頌神。”這樣看來，我們各人都要把自己的事向神交代。

照樣，他們的妻子（“他們的妻子”可解作“女執事”）也要莊重，不說讒言，有節制，凡事忠心。

這樣，律法是聖潔的，誡命也是聖潔、公義和良善的。既是這樣，那良善的反而使我死嗎？絕對不是！但罪藉著那良善的使我死，就顯出真是罪，為了要使罪藉著誡命變成更加邪惡。

這樣，我們可以說甚麼呢？難道律法是罪嗎？絕對不是。不過，如果不是藉著律法，我就不知道甚麼是罪；如果不是律法說“不可貪心”，我就不知道甚麼是貪心。

吃的人不要輕看不吃的人，不吃的人也不要批評吃的人，因為神已經接納他了。你是誰，竟然批評別人的家僕呢？他或站穩或跌倒，只和自己的主人有關；但他必定站穩，因為主能夠使他站穩。

因為在神面前，不是聽律法的為義，而是行律法的得稱為義。

唯有詳細察看那使人自由的全備的律法，並且時常遵守的人，他不是聽了就忘記，而是實行出來，就必因自己所作的蒙福。

照樣，勸年老的婦女行為要敬虔，不說讒言，不被酒奴役，用善道教導人，

你們應該作行道的人，不要單作聽道的人，自己欺騙自己；因為人若只作聽道的人，不作行道的人，他就像一個人對著鏡子看自己本來的面貌，
