吾人所用以讚美天主者舌也；所用以咒詛人者、亦舌也；然而人固天主之肖像也。

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.

With our tongues we praise our Lord and Father. With our tongues we curse people. We do it even though people have been created to be like God.

With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God.

Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God.
