Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we will be judged more strictly.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.

And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accordance with his will, will receive many blows,but the one who did not know it, and committed acts deserving of a beating, will receive only a few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for you do not enter it yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.

But as for you, do not be called Rabbi; for only One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters.And do not call anyone on earth your father; for only One is your Father, He who is in heaven.And do not be called leaders; for only One is your Leader, that is, Christ.

nor yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock.

For the one who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not properly recognize the body.For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number are asleep.But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, and various kinds of tongues.

For this I was appointed as a preacher and an apostle( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

“ Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them a warning from Me.When I say to the wicked,‘ You wicked person, you will certainly die,’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked about his way, that wicked person shall die for his wrongdoing, but I will require his blood from your hand.But if you on your part warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die for his wrongdoing, but you have saved your life.

And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers,

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive compensation for his deeds done through the body, in accordance with what he has done, whether good or bad.

Obey your leaders and submit to them— for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account— so that they may do this with joy, not groaning; for this would be unhelpful for you.

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

for which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.

a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of the immature, possessing in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth—you, therefore, who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one is not to steal, do you steal?

In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.But to me it is an insignificant matter that I would be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.For I am not aware of anything against myself; however I am not vindicated by this, but the one who examines me is the Lord.Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of human hearts; and then praise will come to each person from God.

“ Do not judge, so that you will not be judged.For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.

“ Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me.When I say to the wicked,‘ You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way so that he may live, that wicked person shall die for wrongdoing, but his blood I will require from your hand.

And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples,“ Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?”

Now there were prophets and teachers at Antioch, in the church that was there: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

As for the man who does this, may the Lord eliminate from the tents of Jacob everyone who is awake and answers, or who presents an offering to the Lord of armies.

Jesus answered and said to him,“ You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things?
