兄弟中多有好為人師者、是亦謬甚。應知為師者、責任最重。

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.

Do not become teachers in large numbers, my brothers, since you know that we who are teachers will incur a stricter judgment.

My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers and sisters, because you know that we will be judged more strictly.

Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment.

They want to be teachers of the law, although they don’t understand what they are saying or what they are insisting on.

And that slave who knew his master’s will and didn’t prepare himself or do it will be severely beaten.But the one who did not know and did things deserving of blows will be beaten lightly. Much will be required of everyone who has been given much. And even more will be expected of the one who has been entrusted with more.

“ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You lock up the kingdom of heaven from people. For you don’t go in, and you don’t allow those entering to go in.

“ But as for you, do not be called‘ Rabbi,’ because you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.Do not call anyone on earth your father, because you have one Father, who is in heaven.And do not be called masters either, because you have one Master, the Messiah.

not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.This is why many are sick and ill among you, and many have fallen asleep.If we were properly evaluating ourselves, we would not be judged,but when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, so that we may not be condemned with the world.

And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages.

For this I was appointed a herald, an apostle( I am telling the truth; I am not lying), and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me.If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.

And He personally gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

So Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what the Lord meant when He said: I will show My holiness to those who are near Me, and I will reveal My glory before all the people.” But Aaron remained silent.

For this gospel I was appointed a herald, apostle, and teacher,

So he called the manager in and asked,‘ What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you can no longer be my manager.’

an instructor of the ignorant, a teacher of the immature, having the full expression of knowledge and truth in the law—you then, who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach,“ You must not steal”— do you steal?

In fact, I don’t even evaluate myself.For I am not conscious of anything against myself, but I am not justified by this. The One who evaluates me is the Lord.Therefore don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.

“ Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged.For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples,“ Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

In the church that was at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen, a close friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

To the man who does this, may the Lord cut off any descendants from the tents of Jacob, even if they present an offering to the Lord of Hosts.

“ Are you a teacher of Israel and don’t know these things?” Jesus replied.
