Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听，神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，叫他们在信上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗？

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听，上帝岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，使他们在信心上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗？

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听，神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人，使他们在信心上富足，并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗？

我亲爱的弟兄姊妹，请听我说，上帝不是拣选了穷人，使他们在信心上富足，并承受祂应许赐给那些爱祂之人的国度吗？

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听：神不是拣选了在世上被认为贫穷的人吗？这些人却在信心上富足，而且是承受神的国的人。这国是神应许赐给爱他的人的。

我亲爱的弟兄们，请听！神难道不是拣选了世上的那些贫穷人，使他们在信仰上富有，并且做他国度的继承人吗？这国度是他应许给爱他之人的。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，叫他們在信上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，上帝豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

我親愛的弟兄姊妹，請聽我說，上帝不是揀選了窮人，使他們在信心上富足，並承受祂應許賜給那些愛祂之人的國度嗎？

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽：神不是揀選了在世上被認為貧窮的人嗎？這些人卻在信心上富足，而且是承受神的國的人。這國是神應許賜給愛他的人的。

我親愛的弟兄們請聽，上帝豈不是揀選了世人以為窮的而富於信仰，以承受他所應許給愛他之人的國麼？

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽！神難道不是揀選了世上的那些貧窮人，使他們在信仰上富有，並且做他國度的繼承人嗎？這國度是他應許給愛他之人的。

我所愛之兄弟乎、聽之哉、上帝豈非選斯世之貧者、使富於信、而承其所許於愛己者之國乎、

凡我良朋聽之哉、上帝選斯世貧者、欲彼信主以為富、可嗣上帝所許愛己者之國、

所愛之兄弟、聽之哉、天主豈非選此世之貧者、俾富於信、而嗣天主所許愛己者之國乎、

親愛之兄弟、爾其諦聽、斯世之貧人、乃天主之所眷顧、使其富於信德、而簡為天國之嗣子。蓋天國特為愛慕天主之人而設也。

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

My dear brothers and sisters, listen to me. Hasn’t God chosen those who are poor in the world’s eyes to be rich in faith? Hasn’t he chosen them to receive the kingdom? Hasn’t he promised it to those who love him?

Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?

Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters! Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he promised to those who love him?

Listen, my beloved brothers. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

And He raised His eyes toward His disciples and began saying,“ Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

‘ I know your tribulation and your poverty( but you are rich), and the slander by those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father has chosen to give you the kingdom.

Such is the one who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich in relation to God.”

For consider your calling, brothers and sisters, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,and the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are,

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.

I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me.Riches and honor are with me, Enduring wealth and righteousness.My fruit is better than gold, even pure gold; And my yield better than choice silver.I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice,To endow those who love me with wealth, That I may fill their treasuries.

as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.

The one who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

those who are blind receive sight and those who limp walk, those with leprosy are cleansed and those who are deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position;

I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to apply to your eyes so that you may see.

“ Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

but just as it is written:“ Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, And which have not entered the human heart, All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

So then, no one is to be boasting in people. For all things belong to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

As they were going on the road, someone said to Him,“ I will follow You wherever You go.”And Jesus said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

What answer will one give the messengers of the nation? That the Lord has founded Zion, And the poor of His people will take refuge in it.”

It is changed like clay under the seal; And they stand out like a garment.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters.

After He called the crowd to Him again, He began saying to them,“ Listen to Me, all of you, and understand:

The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

So it was broken on that day, and so the afflicted of the flock who were watching me realized that it was the word of the Lord.

And Stephen said,“ Listen to me, brothers and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,

To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

but showing favor to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Not one of the rulers or Pharisees has believed in Him, has he?

Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and raised his voice and called out. And he said to them,“ Listen to me, you leaders of Shechem, that God may listen to you.

But Abraham said,‘ Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.

“ Now then, sons, listen to me, For blessed are those who keep my ways.

“ Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, And from the Almighty to do wrong.

But I will leave among you A humble and lowly people, And they will take refuge in the name of the Lord.

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

But Micaiah said,“ If you actually return safely, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said,“ Listen, all you people!”

This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.

Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares,‘ I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father was to walk before Me forever’; but now the Lord declares,‘ Far be it from Me— for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant.

and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you

Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?

So I pastured the flock doomed to slaughter, therefore also the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs: the one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; so I pastured the flock.

so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward.

Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, And pay attention to the words of my mouth.

For all things are for your sakes, so that grace, having spread to more and more people, will cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

The afflicted also will increase their joy in the Lord, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Now it happened that the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s arms; and the rich man also died and was buried.
