亚伯兰信耶和华，耶和华就以此算为他的义了。

但你以色列，我的仆人啊！雅各，我所拣选、我朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔啊！

我们的神啊，你不是曾经把这地的居民从你的子民以色列人面前赶走，把这地赐给你的朋友亚伯拉罕的后裔永远作产业吗？

正如亚伯拉罕信神，这就算为他的义。

经上怎么样说呢？“亚伯拉罕信神，这就算为他的义。”作工的得工资，不算是恩典，是他应得的。可是，那不作工而只信那称不敬虔的人为义的神的，他的信就算为义了。大卫也是这样说，那不靠行为而蒙神算为义的人是有福的！

因此，这就算为他的义。“算为他的义”这一句话，不是单为他写的，也是为我们这将来得算为义的人写的，就是为我们这信神使我们的主耶稣从死人中复活的人写的。

人为朋友舍命，人间的爱没有比这个更大的了。你们若行我所吩咐你们的，就是我的朋友了。我不再称你们为仆人，因为仆人不知道主人所作的事；我已经称你们为朋友了，因为我从我父那里听见的一切，都已经告诉你们了。

耶和华与摩西面对面说话，好像人对朋友说话一样。然后，摩西回到营里去，只有他的侍从，一个少年人，就是嫩的儿子约书亚，不离开会幕。

你们没有念过这段圣经吗：‘建筑工人所弃的石头，成了房角的主要石头；

经上有话对法老说：“我把你兴起来，是要藉着你显出我的大能，并且使我的名传遍全地。”

圣经既然预先看见神要使外族人因信称义，就预先把好信息传给亚伯拉罕：“万国都必因你得福。”这样看来，有信心的人，必定和有信心的亚伯拉罕一同得福。凡是靠行律法称义的，都在咒诅之下，因为经上记着：“凡不常常照着律法书上所写的一切去行的，都被咒诅。”

神并没有丢弃他预先知道的子民。难道你们不知道在经上以利亚的话是怎样说的吗？他向神控诉以色列人：

那么，是怎样算的呢？是在他受割礼以后呢，还是在他受割礼之前呢？不是在他受割礼以后，而是在他受了割礼以前。他领受了割礼为记号，作他受割礼之前因信称义的印证，使他作所有没有受割礼而信之人的父，使他们也被算为义；

“弟兄们，经上的话，就是圣灵藉着大卫的口，预言那领人捉拿耶稣的犹大的事，是一定会应验的。

但圣经把所有的人都圈在罪中，好把那因信耶稣基督而来的应许，赐给相信的人。

全部圣经都是神所默示的，在教训、责备、矫正和公义的训练各方面，都是有益的，

因为经上记着：“看哪，我在锡安放了一块石头，就是所拣选所珍贵的房角石，信靠他的人，必不致失望。”
