你这虚浮的人哪，你愿意知道没有行为的信心是没有用的吗？

愚蠢的人啊，你们不知道没有行为的信心是死的吗？

愚昧的人哪，你愿意知道没有行为的信心是没有用的吗？

唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？

虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

愚蠢的人啊，你們不知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

愚昧的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

虛妄的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是不行的麼？

唉，你這虛空的人哪！你想知道沒有行為的信仰是無用的嗎？

虛誕之人歟、豈不知行外之信乃死乎、

虛誕之人乎、爾當知信而不行、其信歸於無有、

無知者乎、爾欲知無行之信乃死乎、

嗚呼、爾亦淺人也已！爾亦知無行之信、乃為空虛無實乎？

You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

You foolish person! Do you want proof that faith without good deeds is useless?

Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?

How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?

Senseless person! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But are you willing to acknowledge, you foolish person, that faith without works is useless?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Thus says the Lord:“ What injustice have your fathers found in Me, That they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become idolaters?

from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk,

For He knows deceitful men; He sees wickedness also. Will He not then consider it?For an empty-headed man will be wise, When a wild donkey’s colt is born a man.

For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise?He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?The Lord knows the thoughts of man, That they are futile.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

But someone will say,“ How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?”Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
