唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？

虛妄的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是不行的麼？

唉，你這虛空的人哪！你想知道沒有行為的信仰是無用的嗎？

虛誕之人歟、豈不知行外之信乃死乎、

虛誕之人乎、爾當知信而不行、其信歸於無有、

無知者乎、爾欲知無行之信乃死乎、

嗚呼、爾亦淺人也已！爾亦知無行之信、乃為空虛無實乎？

Senseless person! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

One who works his land will have plenty of bread, But one who pursues worthless things lacks sense.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

In the same way, faith also, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

This is what the Lord says:“ What injustice did your fathers find in Me, That they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?

Some people have strayed from these things and have turned aside to fruitless discussion,

For He knows false people, And He sees injustice without investigating.An idiot will become intelligent When a wild donkey is born a human.

For there are many rebellious people, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

See to it that there is no one who takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception in accordance with human tradition, in accordance with the elementary principles of the world, rather than in accordance with Christ.

Pay attention, you stupid ones among the people; And when will you understand, foolish ones?He who planted the ear, does He not hear? Or He who formed the eye, does He not see?He who disciplines the nations, will He not rebuke, He who teaches mankind knowledge?The Lord knows human thoughts, That they are mere breath.

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

For if anyone thinks that he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

But someone will say,“ How are the dead raised? And with what kind of body do they come?”You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies;
