愚蠢的人啊，你们不知道没有行为的信心是死的吗？

愚昧的人哪，你愿意知道没有行为的信心是没有用的吗？

唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？

虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

愚蠢的人啊，你們不知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

愚昧的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

虛妄的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是不行的麼？

唉，你這虛空的人哪！你想知道沒有行為的信仰是無用的嗎？

虛誕之人歟、豈不知行外之信乃死乎、

虛誕之人乎、爾當知信而不行、其信歸於無有、

無知者乎、爾欲知無行之信乃死乎、

嗚呼、爾亦淺人也已！爾亦知無行之信、乃為空虛無實乎？

You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

You foolish person! Do you want proof that faith without good deeds is useless?

Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?

How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?

But are you willing to acknowledge, you foolish person, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks sense.

For though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or show gratitude. Instead, their thinking became worthless, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

In the same way faith, if it does not have works, is dead by itself.

This is what the LORD says: What fault did your ancestors find in me that they went so far from me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

Some have departed from these and turned aside to fruitless discussion.

Surely he knows which people are worthless. If he sees iniquity, will he not take note of it?But a stupid person will gain understanding as soon as a wild donkey is born a human!

For there are many rebellious people, full of empty talk and deception, especially those from the circumcision party.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elements of the world, rather than Christ.

Pay attention, you stupid people! Fools, when will you be wise?Can the one who shaped the ear not hear, the one who formed the eye not see?The one who instructs nations, the one who teaches mankind knowledge— does he not discipline?The LORD knows the thoughts of mankind; they are futile.

If anyone thinks he is religious without controlling his tongue, his religion is useless and he deceives himself.

For if anyone considers himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

But someone will ask,“ How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have when they come?”You fool! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
