蓋言毋淫者、亦言毋殺、爾若不淫而殺、則為干律者、

誡曰、勿淫、又曰、勿殺、爾雖無淫行而殺人、又為罹法、

蓋誡爾毋犯姦淫者、天主也；而誡爾毋殺人者、亦天主也。爾即未犯姦淫、而犯殺人、是亦犯法而已矣。

For he who said,“ You shall not commit adultery,” also said,“ You shall not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

God said,“ Do not commit adultery.”( Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18) He also said,“ Do not commit murder.”( Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17) Suppose you don’t commit adultery but do commit murder. Then you have broken the law.

For he who said,“ Do not commit adultery,” also said,“ Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

For the same God who said,“ You must not commit adultery,” also said,“ You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.

For he who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. So if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you are a lawbreaker.

毋殺人、毋姦淫、

爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿殺人、殺人者當被審判、惟我告爾、無故而怒兄弟者、當被審判、詈兄弟為鄙夫者、當解於公堂、詈兄弟為愚妄者、當擲於磯很拿磯很拿即生前作惡者死後受刑處有譯地獄下同之火、是以爾若獻禮物於祭臺、在彼爾憶獲罪爾兄弟、則留禮物於臺前、先往與兄弟復和、然後可來獻爾禮物、有訟爾者、猶偕爾於途間、亟當與之脩和、恐其解爾於刑官、刑官付爾於吏、而投於獄、我誠告爾、毫釐未償、斷不能出於彼也、○爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿姦淫、惟我告爾、凡見婦而動慾念者、則心己姦淫矣、

毋殺人、毋姦淫、

所誡勿姦、勿殺、勿竊、勿妄證、勿貪、以及他誡、悉括於愛人如己一言之內、

曰、何誡、耶穌曰、勿殺人、勿姦淫、勿盜竊、勿妄證、

主若究察罪愆、主歟、何人能立、惟主常施赦免、使人敬畏、

夫諸誡、爾所識也、勿姦淫、勿偷盜、勿妄證、敬爾父母、

若以色列會眾、誤犯主誡命之一、行所不可行者、而不自知、遂致陷於罪愆、

夫諸誡乃爾所知、毋姦淫、毋殺人、毋偷盜、毋妄證、毋欺詐、敬爾父母、

爾告以色列人云、主之誡命中、若有人誤犯其一、行所不可行者、則當獻贖罪祭、

若有族長獲罪、誤犯其天主耶和華誡命之一、行所不可行者、遂致陷於罪愆、
