然務必求之以信、莫存絲毫狐疑。狐疑之人、如海上波濤、因風而起、隨風而轉、漫無定止；

只要凭着信心求，一点不疑惑；因为那疑惑的人，就像海中的波浪，被风吹动翻腾。

祈時當信勿疑、疑者譬之海浪、風吹盪漾、

惟求之時、當信無疑、蓋疑者譬諸海浪、風吹奔盪、

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

耶穌曰：『吾實語爾、爾第堅信不疑、不特能行之於樹、即命此山自移於海、亦無不成。誠信而禱、所求必獲也。』

苟無信德、安能取悅。蓋人之親近天主、必先篤信實有天主、與夫天主之有求必應也。

然則吾人不可再為稚子、隨風飄盪、漫無定止、惑於異端、而溺於邪說。

耶穌曰：『宜信天主、吾實語爾、人但能無餒於心、篤信所言必成、即命此山自移而投於海、亦必予成。故吾語爾、禱時無論何求、宜自信必得、則必予爾。

尤宜確乎不拔、堅守吾人所共抱之望德。蓋天主言出惟行、有諾必信也。

莫使支離忘本之異端、搖奪爾之心魂。務宜建樹信心於聖寵之上；勿可拘泥於飲食之事、以此自囿者、未有獲益者也。

吾望信眾隨處祈禱；祈禱時、應舉聖潔之手、更須平心靜氣。

斯輩乃無水之泉源、又如浮雲隨風飄蕩、終歸無明而已矣。

在爾等愛席之上、彼必與共、惟有恣其口腹、靦然自飽、以玷爾清潔耳。此輩實同無雨之雲、為風所逐；秋後之樹、不結果實；外枯中乾、根株盡拔。狂浪無鄉、長吐堪羞之沫；流星離宅、永歸漆黑之淵。
