Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom.And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

“ Everyone who comes to me and listens to my words and puts them into practice– I will show you what he is like:He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep, and laid the foundation on bedrock. When a flood came, the river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well built.But the person who hears and does not put my words into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against that house, it collapsed immediately, and was utterly destroyed!”

If you understand these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

Live as free people, not using your freedom as a pretext for evil, but as God’s slaves.

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery.

Speak and act as those who will be judged by a law that gives freedom.

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciplesand you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

For if someone merely listens to the message and does not live it out, he is like someone who gazes at his own face in a mirror.For he gazes at himself and then goes out and immediately forgets what sort of person he was.

Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you– unless, indeed, you fail the test!

“ Just as the Father has loved me, I have also loved you; remain in my love.If you obey my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

But she will be delivered through childbearing, if she continues in faith and love and holiness with self- control.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry,“ Abba, Father.”

Be conscientious about how you live and what you teach. Persevere in this, because by doing so you will save both yourself and those who listen to you.

A naive person believes everything, but the shrewd person discerns his steps.

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.

Notice therefore the kindness and harshness of God– harshness toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness toward you, provided you continue in his kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

If you fear the LORD, serving him and obeying him and not rebelling against what he says, and if both you and the king who rules over you follow the LORD your God, all will be well.

How blessed are those who observe his rules, and seek him with all their heart,who, moreover, do no wrong, but follow in his footsteps.

The law of the LORD is perfect and preserves one’s life. The rules set down by the LORD are reliable and impart wisdom to the inexperienced.The LORD’s precepts are fair and make one joyful. The LORD’s commands are pure and give insight for life.The commands to fear the LORD are right and endure forever. The judgments given by the LORD are trustworthy and absolutely just.They are of greater value than gold, than even a great amount of pure gold; they bring greater delight than honey, than even the sweetest honey from a honeycomb.Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; those who obey them receive a rich reward.

Now this matter arose because of the false brothers with false pretenses who slipped in unnoticed to spy on our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, to make us slaves.

How blessed are those who promote justice, and do what is right all the time!

So if the son sets you free, you will be really free.

I run along the path of your commands, for you enable me to do so.ה( He)
