But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.

But He said,“ On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when there was a flood, the river burst against that house and yet it could not shake it, because it had been well built.But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation; and the river burst against it and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

Act as free people, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond servants of God.

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

So speak, and so act, as those who are to be judged by the law of freedom.

I have seen a limit to all perfection; Your commandment is exceedingly broad. MemHow I love Your Law! It is my meditation all the day.Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For they are ever mine.I have more insight than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation.I understand more than those who are old, Because I have complied with Your precepts.I have restrained my feet from every evil way, So that I may keep Your word.I have not turned aside from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. NunYour word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror;for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you— unless indeed you fail the test?

Just as the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; remain in My love.If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be firm, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

But women will be preserved through childbirth— if they continue in faith, love, and sanctity, with moderation.

For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out,“ Abba! Father!”

Pay close attention to yourself and to the teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

to those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life;but to those who are self serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.

The naive believes everything, But the sensible person considers his steps.

They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

So then, the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.

See then the kindness and severity of God: to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; for otherwise you too will be cut off.

If you will fear the Lord and serve Him, and listen to His voice and not rebel against the command of the Lord, then both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God.

Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart.They also do no injustice; They walk in His ways.

The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much pure gold; Sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.Moreover, Your servant is warned by them; In keeping them there is great reward.

Yet it was a concern because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy on our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to enslave us.

How blessed are those who maintain justice, Who practice righteousness at all times!

So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.

I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will enlarge my heart. He

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’ ”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”

And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.

See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;

So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place,

Now when the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and the God fearing proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking to them and urging them to continue in the grace of God.

For I joyfully agree with the law of God in the inner person,but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body’s parts.

To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak in accordance with this word, it is because they have no dawn.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.
