Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

情慾孕而罪孽生、罪孽長成、死亡隨之。

Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

When these desires are allowed to remain, they lead to sin. And when sin is allowed to remain and grow, it leads to death.

Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.

Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

No one sues in righteousness, and no one pleads in truth. They trust in vanity, and speak lies. They conceive mischief, and give birth to iniquity.

Therefore as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin; so death passed to all men, because all sinned.For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law.Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren’t like Adam’s disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come.But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.So then as through one trespass, all men were condemned; even so through one act of righteousness, all men were justified to life.For as through the one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one, many will be made righteous.The law came in that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace abounded more exceedingly;that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.Therefore Yahweh says:“ Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.

When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took some of its fruit, and ate. Then she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate it, too.

What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession,and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, then brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.But Peter said,“ Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

Now he who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying,“ Whoever I kiss, he is the one. Seize him.”Immediately he came to Jesus, and said,“ Hail, Rabbi!” and kissed him.Jesus said to him,“ Friend, why are you here?” Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.Behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.Then Jesus said to him,“ Put your sword back into its place, for all those who take the sword will die by the sword.Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that it must be so?”In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes,“ Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me.But all this has happened that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled.Those who had taken Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.But Peter followed him from a distance, to the court of the high priest, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end.Now the chief priests, the elders, and the whole council sought false testimony against Jesus, that they might put him to death;

To Adam he said,“ Because you have listened to your wife’s voice, and ate from the tree, about which I commanded you, saying,‘ You shall not eat of it,’ the ground is cursed for your sake. You will eat from it with much labor all the days of your life.It will yield thorns and thistles to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.You will eat bread by the sweat of your face until you return to the ground, for you were taken out of it. For you are dust, and you shall return to dust.”

but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.Yahweh said to Cain,“ Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”Cain said to Abel, his brother,“ Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.

The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God.

Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests,

Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
