人被試誘，不可說『我是由上帝而被試誘的』，因為上帝不被惡試誘；他也不試誘人。

人被试探，不可说：“我是被神试探”；因为神不能被恶试探，他也不试探人。

人被诱惑，不可说：“我是被上帝诱惑”；因为上帝是不被恶诱惑的，他也不诱惑人。

人被诱惑，不可说：“我是被神诱惑”；因为神是不被恶诱惑的，他也不诱惑人。

当人受到诱惑时，不可说：“是上帝在诱惑我。”因为上帝不受邪恶的诱惑，也不诱惑人。

人被试探，不可说“我被神试探”；因为神不能被恶试探，他也不试探任何人。

人受诱惑的时候，不可说：“我被神诱惑”，因为神是不能被邪恶诱惑的，神也不诱惑任何人。

人見誘、原文作被試下同勿言我為天主所誘、蓋天主不為惡所誘、亦不誘人、

如有人為誘惑所苦、勿曰為天主所誘；夫天主純善、不能被誘於惡、詎能誘人於惡？

When tempted, no one should say,“ God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

When a person is tempted, they shouldn’t say,“ God is tempting me.” God can’t be tempted by evil. And he doesn’t tempt anyone.

Let no one say when he is tempted,“ I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.

And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say,“ God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.

No one undergoing a trial should say,“ I am being tempted by God,” since God is not tempted by evil, and he himself doesn’t tempt anyone.

No one is to say when he is tempted,“ I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

以人血建城、以罪孽立都市的、有禍啊！看哪，萬族之民只為了給火焚燒而勞碌，列國之民只為了虛空而疲乏，不都是出於萬軍之永恆主麼？

那人說：『你所賜給我、和我同居的女人，她把那樹上的果子給了我，我就喫了。』

堅心忍受試煉的人是有福的；因為他既被試驗為良好，便可得着生命的華冠，就是上帝應許給愛他的人的。

我的弟兄們，你們碰見各種試煉，要認為是大喜事，

永恆主啊，你為甚麼使我們走錯、離開了你的道路？使我們硬着心、不敬畏你呢？為你僕人的緣故、為你產業之族派的緣故、回心轉意吧！

這樣，你必對我說：『他為甚麼還指摘人呢？誰反對過他的主意呢？』但是人哪，你到底是誰，你這跟上帝頂嘴的？被塑造的哪能對塑造他的說：「你為甚麼造我像這樣呢？」
