They will come home and sing songs of joy on the heights of Jerusalem. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.

Now this is what the Lord says:“ Sing with joy for Israel. Shout for the greatest of nations! Shout out with praise and joy:‘ Save your people, O Lord, the remnant of Israel!’

You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!

In that day the people will proclaim,“ This is our God! We trusted in him, and he saved us! This is the Lord, in whom we trusted. Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!”
