By the wrath of the Lord Almighty the land will be scorched and the people will be fuel for the fire; they will not spare one another.

The Lord rules over all. When he gets angry, he will burn up the land. The people will burn in the fire. They will not spare one another.

Through the wrath of the Lord of hosts the land is scorched, and the people are like fuel for the fire; no one spares another.

The land will be blackened by the fury of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The people will be fuel for the fire, and no one will spare even his own brother.

The land is scorched by the wrath of the LORD of Armies, and the people are like fuel for the fire. No one has compassion on his brother.

从中午十二点起，黑暗笼罩了整个大地，一直到下午三点。

在主那大而显赫的日子来到之前，太阳要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血。

看哪！黑暗遮盖大地，幽暗遮盖万民，但耶和华必在你上面升起，他的荣耀必显现在你身上。

有权势的必成为麻絮，他的作为必成为火花；二者共燃，无人扑灭。

到那日，他们将向以色列咆哮，好像大海澎湃；人观看这地，看哪，只有黑暗和患难，甚至光在密云中也变为黑暗！

看哪！耶和华的日子来到，是残忍的，带着盛怒和猛烈的怒气，为要使这地成为废墟，为要除灭其中的罪人。

为此，在万军之耶和华烈怒的日子里，因着我的盛怒，我要使诸天颤抖；大地必从其原处震开。

他们的弓箭必把少年人射烂，他们不怜悯妇人腹中的胎儿，他们的眼也不顾惜小孩。

他们向大地观看，看哪，尽是患难、黑暗、幽暗痛苦！他们必被赶入漆黑之中！

街上有为酒哭喊的声音；一切欢乐都已黯淡，地上的喜乐都已离去。城中只有废墟残留，城门被打得破碎不堪。

因此诅咒吞噬大地，其上的居民必承担罪责；因此地上的居民被焚烧，只有少数人残留下来。

要知道：既然神没有顾惜那些犯罪的天使，把他们扔进地狱，囚禁在幽暗的坑里，拘留到审判的时候；
