For those who guide this people are leading them astray; And those who are guided by them are confused.

这些带领者使百姓步入歧途、走向灭亡。

因为那些领导这人民的，使他们走错了路；那些被领导的，都必一片混乱。

因为引导这百姓的使他们迷失，而被引导的都陷入混乱。

因為，引導這百姓的使他們走錯了路；被引導的都必敗亡。

因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

這些帶領者使百姓步入歧途、走向滅亡。

因為那些領導這人民的，使他們走錯了路；那些被領導的，都必一片混亂。

導民者誘入迷途、受導者淪胥以亡、

訓導斯民者、偏頗是尚、為所蠱惑者、淪胥以亡、

導斯民者誘之、凡被其所導者俱滅亡、

Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray.

Those who guide the people of Israel are leading them down the wrong path. So those who follow them aren’t on the right road.

for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

For the leaders of the people have misled them. They have led them down the path of destruction.

The leaders of the people mislead them, and those they mislead are swallowed up.

For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed.

For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

The leaders of this nation were misleading people, and the people being led were destroyed.

For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed.

Leave them alone; they are blind guides of blind people. And if a person who is blind guides another who is blind, both will fall into a pit.”

My people! Their oppressors treat them violently, And women rule over them. My people! Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths.

Then the Levitical priests stood and blessed the people; and their voice was heard and their prayer came to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.

And he stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying:“ Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel in accordance with everything that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant.

“ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying,‘ In this way you shall bless the sons of Israel. You are to say to them:The Lord bless you, and keep you;The Lord cause His face to shine on you, And be gracious to you;The Lord lift up His face to you, And give you peace.’

But without any dispute the lesser person is blessed by the greater.

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’You fools and blind men! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?And you say,‘ Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the offering that is on it is obligated.’You blind men, which is more important, the offering or the altar that sanctifies the offering?Therefore, the one who swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it.And the one who swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells in it.And the one who swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may also become clean.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,and you say,‘ If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers.You snakes, you offspring of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?“ Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,so that upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
