因为，引导这百姓的使他们走错了路；被引导的都必败亡。

这些带领者使百姓步入歧途、走向灭亡。

因为那些领导这人民的，使他们走错了路；那些被领导的，都必一片混乱。

因为引导这百姓的使他们迷失，而被引导的都陷入混乱。

因為，引導這百姓的使他們走錯了路；被引導的都必敗亡。

因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

因為引導這百姓的使他們走入迷途，被引導的都必被吞滅。

這些帶領者使百姓步入歧途、走向滅亡。

因為那些領導這人民的，使他們走錯了路；那些被領導的，都必一片混亂。

因為引導這百姓的使他們迷失，而被引導的都陷入混亂。

導民者誘入迷途、受導者淪胥以亡、

訓導斯民者、偏頗是尚、為所蠱惑者、淪胥以亡、

導斯民者誘之、凡被其所導者俱滅亡、

Those who guide this people mislead them, and those who are guided are led astray.

Those who guide the people of Israel are leading them down the wrong path. So those who follow them aren’t on the right road.

for those who guide this people have been leading them astray, and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

For the leaders of the people have misled them. They have led them down the path of destruction.

For those who guide this people are leading them astray; And those who are guided by them are confused.

For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed.

For they that lead this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

The leaders of the people mislead them, and those they mislead are swallowed up.

For the leaders of this people cause[ them] to err; and[ they that are] led of them[ are] destroyed.

The leaders of this nation were misleading people, and the people being led were destroyed.

For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed.

Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Youths oppress my people, and women rule over them. My people, your leaders mislead you; they confuse the direction of your paths.

Then the priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, and their prayer came into his holy dwelling place in heaven.

and he stood and blessed the whole congregation of Israel with a loud voice:“ Blessed be the LORD! He has given rest to his people Israel according to all he has said. Not one of all the good promises he made through his servant Moses has failed.

“ Tell Aaron and his sons,‘ This is how you are to bless the Israelites. You should say to them,“ May the LORD bless you and protect you;may the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;may the LORD look with favor on you and give you peace.”’

Without a doubt, the inferior is blessed by the superior.

“ Woe to you, blind guides, who say,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the temple, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the temple is bound by his oath.’Blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?Also,‘ Whoever takes an oath by the altar, it means nothing; but whoever takes an oath by the gift that is on it is bound by his oath.’Blind people! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?Therefore, the one who takes an oath by the altar takes an oath by it and by everything on it.The one who takes an oath by the temple takes an oath by it and by him who dwells in it.And the one who takes an oath by heaven takes an oath by God’s throne and by him who sits on it.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You pay a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, and yet you have neglected the more important matters of the law— justice, mercy, and faithfulness. These things should have been done without neglecting the others.Blind guides! You strain out a gnat, but gulp down a camel!“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside of it may also become clean.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of the bones of the dead and every kind of impurity.In the same way, on the outside you seem righteous to people, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous,and you say,‘ If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we wouldn’t have taken part with them in shedding the prophets’ blood.’So you testify against yourselves that you are descendants of those who murdered the prophets.Fill up, then, the measure of your ancestors’ sins!“ Snakes! Brood of vipers! How can you escape being condemned to hell?This is why I am sending you prophets, sages, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.So all the righteous blood shed on the earth will be charged to you, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.Truly I tell you, all these things will come on this generation.
