大闢之族、馭下以寛、若示囉之水、其流漫衍、斯民棄之而悅服哩汛及哩馬利子、

“这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜悦利汛和利玛利的儿子；

“这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜欢利汛以及利玛利的儿子，

“这百姓既厌弃西罗亚缓流的水，喜欢利汛以及利玛利的儿子，

“因为这些人拒绝接受我如西罗亚河缓缓流水般的温柔照顾，反倒因与利迅和利玛利的儿子结盟而欢喜，

“这子民既然厌弃了西罗亚缓流的水，却喜悦利汛和利玛利的儿子，

“因为这子民厌弃西罗亚缓慢的流水，却喜悦利汛和利玛利的儿子；

「這百姓既厭棄西羅亞緩流的水，喜悅利汛和利瑪利的兒子；

「這百姓既厭棄西羅亞緩流的水，喜歡利汛以及利瑪利的兒子，

「這百姓既厭棄西羅亞緩流的水，喜歡利汛以及利瑪利的兒子，

「因為這些人拒絕接受我如西羅亞河緩緩流水般的溫柔照顧，反倒因與利迅和利瑪利的兒子結盟而歡喜，

“這子民既然厭棄了西羅亞緩流的水，卻喜悅利汛和利瑪利的兒子，

『這人民既棄絕了西羅亞緩流的水，而在利汛和利瑪利的兒子面前軟化下去，

「因為這子民厭棄西羅亞緩慢的流水，卻喜悅利汛和利瑪利的兒子；

斯民厭棄西羅亞緩流之水、而悅利汛與利瑪利之子、

斯民棄緩流之示羅亞水、而悅利汛及利瑪利子、

“ Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,

“ I am like the gently flowing stream of Siloam. But the people of Judah have turned their backs on me. They are filled with joy because of the fall of Rezin and the son of Remaliah.

“ Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah,

“ My care for the people of Judah is like the gently flowing waters of Shiloah, but they have rejected it. They are rejoicing over what will happen to King Rezin and King Pekah.

Because these people rejected the slowly flowing water of Shiloah and rejoiced with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,

“ Inasmuch as these people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin and the son of Remaliah;

“ Inasmuch as these people refused The waters of Shiloah that flow softly, And rejoice in Rezin and in Remaliah’s son;

Forasmuch as this people have refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

Because these people rejected the slowly flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoiced with Rezin and the son of Remaliah,

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

“ These people have rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and melt in fear over Rezin and the son of Remaliah.

“ Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

語之曰、往洗於西羅亞池、其人往洗、反即明矣、西羅亞、譯即奉使者、○

治理密士巴之半者、谷何西子沙龍、建泉門、作蓋於門上以蔽之、置扉鎖楗俱備。王圃之側、西羅亞沼濱建垣、及大闢邑之階。

詎有棄利巴嫩之雪、而求郊原之磐、詎有棄溪流之清洌、而求遠方之水。

爾今或往埃及、飲西曷之水、或往亞述、飲百辣之水、果何為哉。

今爾立亞庇米力為王、如爾作為真實無妄、善待耶路巴力與其家眾、酬其夙恩、則可喜悅。蓋我父為爾戰鬥、冒死不顧、援爾出米田人手、惟爾今日攻擊其家、取其子七十人、殺於石上、立其婢之子亞庇米力為示劍王、豈非為爾兄弟之私乎。如爾今日所為、待耶路巴力、與其家眾、真實無妄、則願爾以亞庇米力為悅、亦願亞庇米力以爾為悅。不然、願火自亞庇米力出、燬示劍人、與米羅族、亦願火自示劍人及米羅族出、燬亞庇米力。

耶和華萬有之真宰、以色列族之聖主、定律例、立法度、彼蔑棄之、藐視之、故必敗亡、若火之燬稈、若燄之燃蒭、本實必撥、花蕊必謝、

今爾有眾、奉耶羅破暗所作金犢、尊為上帝、意謂能拒耶和華所賜大闢子孫之國、爾曾棄耶和華祭司、亞倫後裔、及利未人、擅立諸祭司、循異邦之例、無論何人、攜犢一、牡綿羊七、欲為非上帝之祭司、爾則立之。我儕不棄我之上帝耶和華、所奉耶和華之祭司、俱亞倫子孫、利未人亦供役事。每值朝夕獻燔、及芬芳之品、陳設之餅、置諸潔几、有金燈臺、竟夕常明、以役事我上帝耶和華、永不遺棄、上帝祐我、為我主宰、祭司吹角、其聲宏遠、以色列族歟、勿與爾列祖之上帝耶和華戰、必不得勝。耶羅破暗伏兵於後、環而攻之、於是以色列人在前、伏兵在後。猶大人回顧、見前後受攻、則籲耶和華祭司吹角。猶太人號呼時、上帝擊耶羅破暗、與以色列族眾、為亞庇雅猶大人所敗。以色列族遁逃、上帝付之與猶大人手。亞庇雅率民大戮以色列族壯士五十萬。以色列族已降猶大人、賴列祖之上帝耶和華、故獲勝焉。

當猶大王烏西亞孫、約擔子亞哈士、時亞蘭王哩汛、以色列王哩馬利子比迦、咸至耶路撒冷、攻城不下。或告大闢族曰、亞蘭人、與以法蓮人、結為黨援、大闢族聞之、君民震慴、心搖搖如風木、

鑄銅為頂、置於柱首、頂各高五尺。

我民作二大惡、我乃活水之源、彼反棄予、器易敗漏、不得盛水、彼反造作。

我儕往攻猶大、使其恐懼、奪其土地、立大庇押子為王、
