我亲近女先知；她就怀孕生子，耶和华对我说：“给他起名叫玛黑珥‧沙拉勒‧哈施‧罢斯；

後來我與女先知親近，她就懷孕，生了一個兒子。耶和華對我說：「你要給他起名為瑪黑珥·薩拉勒·哈施·罷斯，

於是我與先知婦同室、懷妊生子、耶和華諭我曰、命名瑪黑珥沙勒哈施罷斯、

我與妻寢、一索而得男、耶和華命名馬黑沙辣哈八、

我與妻同室、懷孕生子、主諭我曰、稱其名瑪黑珥沙拉勒哈斯罷斯、譯即擄事速臨掠事急至之義

Then I made love to the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher- Shalal- Hash- Baz.

Then I went and slept with my wife, who was a prophet. She became pregnant and had a baby boy. The Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher- Shalal- Hash- Baz.

And I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the Lord said to me,“ Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz;

Then I slept with my wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said,“ Call him Maher shalal hash baz.

I was then intimate with the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD said to me,“ Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz,

So I approached the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. Then the Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher shalal hash baz;

Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and bore a son. Then the Lord said to me,“ Call his name Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz;

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said Jehovah unto me, Call his name Maher- shalal- hash- baz.

I was then intimate with the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. The Lord said to me,“ Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz,

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

I then had sexual relations with the prophetess; she conceived and gave birth to a son. The LORD told me,“ Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz,

I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then Yahweh said to me,“ Call his name‘ Maher Shalal Hash Baz.’

當時做士師的是一位名叫底波拉的女先知，她是拉比多的妻子，

於是，希勒迦祭司、亞希甘、亞革波、沙番和亞撒雅去求問女先知戶勒妲。她是負責管理禮服的沙龍的妻子，沙龍是哈珥哈斯的孫子、特瓦的兒子。戶勒妲住在耶路撒冷第二區。他們向她說明來意。

以賽亞說：「大衛的子孫啊，你們聽著！你們使人厭煩還不夠嗎？還要使我的上帝厭煩嗎？所以，主會親自給你們一個徵兆，必有童貞女懷孕生子並給祂取名叫以馬內利。

於是，何西阿娶了滴拉音的女兒歌蜜為妻，她懷孕為他生了一個兒子。耶和華對何西阿說：「給他取名叫耶斯列，因為再過不久，我就要因耶戶家在耶斯列的屠殺而懲罰他們，消滅以色列國。那時，我要在耶斯列平原折斷以色列的弓。」後來，歌蜜又懷孕生了一個女兒。耶和華對何西阿說：「給她取名叫羅·路哈瑪，因為我將不再憐憫以色列家，也不再赦免他們的罪。但我要憐憫猶大家，使他們依靠他們的上帝耶和華得到拯救，而不是依靠戰弓、刀劍、馬匹、騎兵和戰爭。」羅·路哈瑪斷奶後，歌蜜又懷孕生了一個兒子。耶和華說：「給他取名叫羅·阿米，因為以色列人不再是我的子民，我也不再是他們的上帝。」
