So I called in Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah as reliable witnesses for me.

So I sent for Zechariah and Uriah the priest. Zechariah is the son of Jeberekiah. Zechariah and Uriah were witnesses for me whom I could trust.

And I will get reliable witnesses, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah, to attest for me.”

I asked Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah, both known as honest men, to witness my doing this.

I have appointed trustworthy witnesses— the priest Uriah and Zechariah son of Jeberechiah.”

And I will take for Myself faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”

Then I will summon as my reliable witnesses Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah.”

Now King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath pileser king of Assyria, and he saw the altar which was at Damascus; and King Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the pattern of the altar and its model, according to all its workmanship.So Urijah the priest built an altar; according to everything that King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, in that way Urijah the priest made it, before the coming of King Ahaz from Damascus.

Furthermore, I have acquired Ruth the Moabitess, the widow of Mahlon, to be my wife in order to raise up the name of the deceased on his inheritance, so that the name of the deceased will not be eliminated from his brothers or from the court of his birth place; you are witnesses today.”And all the people who were in the court, and the elders, said,“ We are witnesses. May the Lord make the woman who is coming into your home like Rachel and Leah, both of whom built the house of Israel; and may you achieve wealth in Ephrathah and become famous in Bethlehem.

This is the third time that I am coming to you. On the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter shall be confirmed.

Then he took ten men of the elders of the city and said,“ Sit down here.” So they sat down.

He was twenty five years old when he became king, and he reigned for twenty nine years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.

Then King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying,“ Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, the evening meal offering, the king’s burnt offering and his meal offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, their meal offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle on it all the blood of the burnt offering and all the blood of the sacrifice. But the bronze altar shall be for me, for making inquiries.”So Urijah the priest acted in accordance with everything that King Ahaz commanded.
