He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

Then the Lord will be a holy place of safety for you. But that’s not true for many people in Israel and Judah. He will be a stone that causes them to trip. He will be a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

He will keep you safe. But to Israel and Judah he will be a stone that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.

He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, he will be a stone to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

这是什么缘故呢？是因为他们不凭着信心求，只凭着行为求；他们正跌在那绊脚石上。就如经上所记：“我在锡安放一块绊脚的石头，跌人的磐石；信靠他的人必不至于羞愧。”

西面给他们祝福，又对孩子的母亲马利亚说：“这孩子被立，是要叫以色列中许多人跌倒，许多人兴起；又要作毁谤的话柄，叫许多人心里的意念显露出来；你自己的心也要被刀刺透。”

所以，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我在锡安放一块石头作为根基，是试验过的石头，是稳固根基，宝贵的房角石；信靠的人必不着急。

所以你当说：‘耶和华如此说：我虽将以色列全家远远迁移到列国中，将他们分散在列邦内，我还要在他们所到的列邦，暂作他们的圣所。’

神是我们的避难所，是我们的力量，是我们在患难中随时的帮助。所以，地虽改变，山虽摇动到海心，

他要向恶人密布网罗；有烈火、硫磺、热风，作他们杯中的份。

耶和华的名是坚固台；义人奔入便得安稳。

他们就厌弃他。耶稣对他们说：“大凡先知，除了本地本家之外，没有不被人尊敬的。”

愿他们的筵席在他们面前变为网罗，在他们平安的时候变为机槛。

谁是先给了他，使他后来偿还呢？

我的百姓啊，你们要来进入内室，关上门，隐藏片时，等到忿怒过去。

因为那日子要这样临到全地上一切居住的人。

必有亭子，白日可以得荫避暑，也可以作为藏身之处，躲避狂风暴雨。

地上的居民哪，恐惧、陷坑、网罗都临近你。躲避恐惧声音的必坠入陷坑；从陷坑上来的必被网罗缠住；因为天上的窗户都开了，地的根基也震动了。

大卫也说：“愿他们的筵席变为网罗，变为机槛，变为绊脚石，作他们的报应。愿他们的眼睛昏蒙，不得看见；愿你时常弯下他们的腰。”我且说，他们失脚是要他们跌倒吗？断乎不是！反倒因他们的过失，救恩便临到外邦人，要激动他们发愤。
