thus says the Lord GOD:“ It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass.

主耶和華曰、此謀不立、不成、

然我耶和華云、此謀必不成、

主天主如是云、此謀必不立、必不成、

Yet this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ It will not take place, it will not happen,

But I am the Lord and King. I say,“‘ “That will not happen. It will not take place.

thus says the Lord God:“‘ It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.

But this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ This invasion will never happen; it will never take place;

This is what the Lord GOD says: It will not happen; it will not occur.

this is what the Lord God says:“ It shall not stand nor shall it come to pass.

thus saith the Lord Jehovah, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

This is what the Lord God says: It will not happen; it will not occur.

Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

For this reason the sovereign master, the LORD, says:“ It will not take place; it will not happen.

This is what the Lord Yahweh says:“ It shall not stand, neither shall it happen.”

Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, For God is with us.”

who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:‘ Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things?The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together against the Lord and against His Christ.’“ For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered togetherto do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.

There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel against the Lord.

Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying,‘ My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it.

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it?

Because your rage against Me and your tumult Have come up to My ears, Therefore I will put My hook in your nose And My bridle in your lips, And I will turn you back By the way which you came.”’

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:“ Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him,“ What have You done?”

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.

I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, To seize the spoil, to take the prey, And to tread them down like the mire of the streets.Yet he does not mean so, Nor does his heart think so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations.For he says,‘ Are not my princes altogether kings?Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus?As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria,As I have done to Samaria and her idols, Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?’”Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say,“ I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.”

Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.
