Say to him: Calm down and be quiet. Don’t be afraid or cowardly because of these two smoldering sticks, the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram, and the son of Remaliah.

對他說：『你要謹慎安靜，不要因亞蘭王利汛和利瑪利的兒子這兩個冒煙的火把頭所發的烈怒害怕，也不要心裏膽怯。

對他說：『你要謹慎，要鎮定，不要害怕，不要因利汛和亞蘭，以及利瑪利的兒子這兩個冒煙火把的頭所發的烈怒而心裏膽怯。

對他說：『你要謹慎，要鎮定，不要害怕，不要因利汛和亞蘭，以及利瑪利的兒子這兩個冒煙火把的頭所發的烈怒而心裏膽怯。

對他說：『你要謹慎，保持鎮靜，不要因亞蘭王利汛和利瑪利的兒子發烈怒而害怕，也不要因這兩個冒煙的火把殘頭而心裡膽怯。

謂之曰、爾其謹慎靜謐、勿因此餘燼、有煙之二炬、利汛亞蘭、及利瑪利子之烈怒、畏懼心怯、

告之曰哩汛率亞蘭人、與哩馬利子相會、其怒雖烈、不過二火炬之餘燼、僅有微烟、爾勿畏葸、勿喪膽、可安爾心、

告之曰、爾當謹慎安靜、勿畏葸、利汛與亞蘭、並利瑪利子發烈怒、亦不過二火炬之餘燼、僅有微煙、爾勿因之喪膽、

Say to him,‘ Be careful, keep calm and don’t be afraid. Do not lose heart because of these two smoldering stubs of firewood— because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah.

Tell Ahaz,‘ Be careful. Stay calm. Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope because of the great anger of Rezin, Aram and the son of Remaliah. After all, they are nothing but two pieces of smoking firewood.

And say to him,‘ Be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two smoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and the son of Remaliah.

Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah.

and say to him,‘ Take care and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted because of these two stumps of smoldering logs, on account of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah.

and say to him:‘ Take heed, and be quiet; do not fear or be fainthearted for these two stubs of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and the son of Remaliah.

and say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither let thy heart be faint, because of these two tails of smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Say to him: Calm down and be quiet. Don’t be afraid or cowardly because of these two smoldering stubs of firebrands, the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram, and the son of Remaliah.

And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

Tell him,‘ Make sure you stay calm! Don’t be afraid! Don’t be intimidated by these two stubs of smoking logs, or by the raging anger of Rezin, Syria, and the son of Remaliah.

Tell him,‘ Be careful, and keep calm. Don’t be afraid, neither let your heart be faint because of these two tails of smoking torches, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.

I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a burning stick snatched from a fire, yet you did not return to me— This is the LORD’s declaration.

Say to the cowardly:“ Be strong; do not fear! Here is your God; vengeance is coming. God’s retribution is coming; he will save you.”

For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said:“ You will be delivered by returning and resting; your strength will lie in quiet confidence. But you are not willing.”

He is to say to them,‘ Listen, Israel: Today you are about to engage in battle with your enemies. Do not be cowardly. Do not be afraid, alarmed, or terrified because of them.

The LORD said to Satan,“ The LORD rebuke you, Satan! May the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”

David said to Saul,“ Don’t let anyone be discouraged by him; your servant will go and fight this Philistine!”

It is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD.

Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel. I will help you”— this is the LORD’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Don’t fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Egypt’s help is completely worthless; therefore, I call her: Rahab Who Just Sits.

for before the boy knows how to call‘ Father,’ or‘ Mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the spoils of Samaria will be carried off to the king of Assyria.”

In the days of King Pekah of Israel, King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel-beth-maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead, and Galilee— all the land of Naphtali— and deported the people to Assyria.Then Hoshea son of Elah organized a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah. He attacked him, killed him, and became king in his place in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Uzziah.

For this is what the LORD said to me with great power, to keep me from going the way of this people:Do not call everything a conspiracy that these people say is a conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified.You are to regard only the LORD of Armies as holy. Only he should be feared; only he should be held in awe.He will be a sanctuary; but for the two houses of Israel, he will be a stone to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

The chief city of Aram is Damascus, the chief of Damascus is Rezin( within sixty-five years Ephraim will be too shattered to be a people),

This took place during the reign of Ahaz, son of Jotham, son of Uzziah king of Judah: Aram’s King Rezin and Israel’s King Pekah son of Remaliah went to fight against Jerusalem, but they were not able to conquer it.

But Moses said to the people,“ Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and see the LORD’s salvation that he will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.The LORD will fight for you, and you must be quiet.”

You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD. He is with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Tomorrow, go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.’”

I— I am the one who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear humans who die, or a son of man who is given up like grass?But you have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

Therefore, the Lord GOD of Armies says this:“ My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria, though they strike you with a rod and raise their staff over you as the Egyptians did.
