Then he said,“ Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?

以赛亚说：“大卫的子孙啊，你们听着！你们使人厌烦还不够吗？还要使我的上帝厌烦吗？

以赛亚说：“大卫家啊，你们要听！你们使人厌烦还算小事，还要使我的神厌烦吗？

于是以赛亚说：“大卫家啊，你们要听！难道你们使人厌倦还不够，又要使我的神厌倦吗？

以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們當聽！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「聽啊，大衛家！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「聽啊，大衛家！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「大衛的子孫啊，你們聽著！你們使人厭煩還不夠嗎？還要使我的上帝厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：“大衛家啊，你們要聽！你們使人厭煩還算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：『大衛家啊，你們要聽；你們使人發膩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝發膩麼？

於是以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們要聽！難道你們使人厭倦還不夠，又要使我的神厭倦嗎？

以賽亞曰、大衛家、其聽之、爾以勞人為細事乎、亦將勞我上帝乎、

以賽亞曰、大闢族宜聽我言、爾作不善、人已難堪、又必欲使上帝厭爾乎。

以賽亞曰、大衛家當聽、爾使人厭煩、以為細事乎、亦欲使我天主厭煩乎、

Then Isaiah said,“ Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also?

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen, you members of the royal family of David! Isn’t it enough for you to test the patience of human beings? Are you also going to test the patience of my God?

And he said,“ Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also?

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen well, you royal family of David! Isn’t it enough to exhaust human patience? Must you exhaust the patience of my God as well?

Isaiah said,“ Listen, house of David! Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men? Will you also try the patience of my God?

Then he said,“ Listen now, house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David: Is it a small thing for you to weary men, that ye will weary my God also?

Isaiah said,“ Listen, house of David! Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men? Will you also try the patience of my God?

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David;[ Is it] a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

So Isaiah replied,“ Pay attention, family of David. Do you consider it too insignificant to try the patience of men? Is that why you are also trying the patience of my God?

He said,“ Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?

You have bought Me no sweet cane with money, Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices; But you have burdened Me with your sins, You have wearied Me with your iniquities.

Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said,‘ They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’

“ Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter,

But she said to her,“ Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son’s mandrakes also?” And Rachel said,“ Therefore he will lie with you tonight for your son’s mandrakes.”

But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.

A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; Who sacrifice in gardens, And burn incense on altars of brick;Who sit among the graves, And spend the night in the tombs; Who eat swine’s flesh, And the broth of abominable things is in their vessels;Who say,‘ Keep to yourself, Do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.

Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, that you should keep acting like a prince over us?

You did not walk in their ways nor act according to their abominations; but, as if that were too little, you became more corrupt than they in all your ways.

You have wearied the Lord with your words; Yet you say,“ In what way have we wearied Him?” In that you say,“ Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the Lord, And He delights in them,” Or,“ Where is the God of justice?”

Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord. I am weary of holding it in.“ I will pour it out on the children outside, And on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with him who is full of days.

And it was told to the house of David, saying,“ Syria’s forces are deployed in Ephraim.” So his heart and the heart of his people were moved as the trees of the woods are moved with the wind.

O Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Therefore the Lord says, The Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel,“ Ah, I will rid Myself of My adversaries, And take vengeance on My enemies.

Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture— and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet?

Hear and testify against the house of Jacob,” Says the Lord GOD, the God of hosts,

Yet the Lord would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that He had made with David, and since He had promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever.

Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the work of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to serve them;

And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

O house of David! Thus says the Lord:“ Execute judgment in the morning; And deliver him who is plundered Out of the hand of the oppressor, Lest My fury go forth like fire And burn so that no one can quench it, Because of the evil of your doings.

“ You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.

And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David,
