以赛亚说：“大卫的子孙啊，你们听着！你们使人厌烦还不够吗？还要使我的上帝厌烦吗？

以赛亚说：“大卫家啊，你们要听！你们使人厌烦还算小事，还要使我的神厌烦吗？

于是以赛亚说：“大卫家啊，你们要听！难道你们使人厌倦还不够，又要使我的神厌倦吗？

以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們當聽！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「聽啊，大衛家！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「聽啊，大衛家！你們使人厭煩豈算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：「大衛的子孫啊，你們聽著！你們使人厭煩還不夠嗎？還要使我的上帝厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：“大衛家啊，你們要聽！你們使人厭煩還算小事，還要使我的神厭煩嗎？

以賽亞說：『大衛家啊，你們要聽；你們使人發膩豈算小事，還要使我的上帝發膩麼？

於是以賽亞說：「大衛家啊，你們要聽！難道你們使人厭倦還不夠，又要使我的神厭倦嗎？

以賽亞曰、大衛家、其聽之、爾以勞人為細事乎、亦將勞我上帝乎、

以賽亞曰、大闢族宜聽我言、爾作不善、人已難堪、又必欲使上帝厭爾乎。

以賽亞曰、大衛家當聽、爾使人厭煩、以為細事乎、亦欲使我天主厭煩乎、

Then Isaiah said,“ Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also?

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen, you members of the royal family of David! Isn’t it enough for you to test the patience of human beings? Are you also going to test the patience of my God?

And he said,“ Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also?

Then Isaiah said,“ Listen well, you royal family of David! Isn’t it enough to exhaust human patience? Must you exhaust the patience of my God as well?

Isaiah said,“ Listen, house of David! Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men? Will you also try the patience of my God?

Then he said,“ Listen now, house of David! Is it too trivial a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?

Then he said,“ Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David: Is it a small thing for you to weary men, that ye will weary my God also?

Isaiah said,“ Listen, house of David! Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men? Will you also try the patience of my God?

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David;[ Is it] a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

So Isaiah replied,“ Pay attention, family of David. Do you consider it too insignificant to try the patience of men? Is that why you are also trying the patience of my God?

He said,“ Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?

You have not bought any fragrant calamus for me, or lavished on me the fat of your sacrifices. But you have burdened me with your sins and wearied me with your offenses. (niv)

That is why I was angry with that generation; I said,‘ Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways.’ (niv)

“‘ And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols. Was your prostitution not enough? (niv)

But she said to her,“ Wasn’t it enough that you took away my husband? Will you take my son’s mandrakes too?”“ Very well,” Rachel said,“ he can sleep with you tonight in return for your son’s mandrakes.” (niv)

Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself fought against them. (niv)

a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick;who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of impure meat;who say,‘ Keep away; don’t come near me, for I am too sacred for you!’ Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day. (niv)

Isn’t it enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness? And now you also want to lord it over us! (niv)

You not only followed their ways and copied their detestable practices, but in all your ways you soon became more depraved than they. (niv)

You have wearied the Lord with your words.“ How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying,“ All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them” or“ Where is the God of justice?” (niv)

But I am full of the wrath of the Lord, and I cannot hold it in.“ Pour it out on the children in the street and on the young men gathered together; both husband and wife will be caught in it, and the old, those weighed down with years. (niv)

Now the house of David was told,“ Aram has allied itself with Ephraim”; so the hearts of Ahaz and his people were shaken, as the trees of the forest are shaken by the wind. (niv)

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago. (niv)

Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares:“ Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies. (niv)

Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture? Must you also trample the rest of your pasture with your feet? Is it not enough for you to drink clear water? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? (niv)

“ Hear this and testify against the descendants of Jacob,” declares the Lord, the Lord God Almighty. (niv)

Nevertheless, because of the covenant the Lord had made with David, the Lord was not willing to destroy the house of David. He had promised to maintain a lamp for him and his descendants forever. (niv)

Isn’t it enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the rest of the Israelite community and brought you near himself to do the work at the Lord’s tabernacle and to stand before the community and minister to them? (niv)

The Lord, the God of their ancestors, sent word to them through his messengers again and again, because he had pity on his people and on his dwelling place.But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the Lord was aroused against his people and there was no remedy. (niv)

This is what the Lord says to you, house of David:“‘ Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done— burn with no one to quench it. (niv)

“ You stiff- necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! (niv)

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (niv)
