國豈能一日而生？民豈能一時而產？因為錫安一劬勞便生下兒女，這樣的事誰曾聽見？誰曾看見呢？

有誰聽過這樣的事？有誰見過這些事？國土能在一日之內就誕生嗎？國家能在一時之間就生出嗎？然而，錫安剛要有產痛，就生下了她的兒女！

國豈能一日而成、民豈能一時而生、然錫安女方妊、遂產其子矣、

地出土產、豈能一日而成、國有民人、豈能頃刻而生、若此之事、孰見聞之、然郇邑人始覺劬勞、遂產其子。

國豈能一日而立、民豈能一時而聚、然郇邑忽得居民、若婦劬勞產子、若是之事、孰嘗聞之、孰嘗見之、

Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.

Who has ever heard of anything like that? Who has ever seen such a thing? Can a country be born in a day? Can a nation be created in a moment? But as soon as Zion goes into labor, there are many more of her people.

Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children.

Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born.

Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her sons.

Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be given birth all at once? As soon as Zion was in labor, she also delivered her sons.

Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.

從古時以來，人未曾聽過，耳未曾聞過，眼未曾見過，在你以外還有甚麼神，能為等候他的人行事的。

你喪子以後所生的兒女還要說給你聽，說：‘這地方給我居住太狹窄了；求你給我預備地方居住吧！’那時你心裡必說：‘我既喪子，又不能生育；我是被擄的，又是被放逐在外的，誰給我生了這些孩子呢？誰把這些孩子養大呢？看哪！我獨自一人被撇下，這些孩子是從哪裡來的呢？’”主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必向列國舉手，我要向萬民豎立我的旗幟；他們要把你的兒子都抱在懷中帶來，把你的女兒都放在肩上背來。

別的我不敢說，我只說基督藉著我所作的事，就是用言語行為，藉著神蹟和奇事的大能，以及聖靈的大能，使外族人順服；這樣，我從耶路撒冷直到以利里古，把基督的福音都傳開了。

正如經上所記：“神為愛他的人所預備的，是眼睛未曾見過，耳朵未曾聽過，人心也未曾想到的。”

於是接受他話的人都受了洗，那一天門徒增加了約三千人。

他們聽了，就讚美神，對保羅說：“弟兄，你看，猶太人中信主的有好幾萬，都是對律法很熱心的人。

然而有許多聽道的人信了，男人的數目，約有五千。
