Hear the loud sounds coming from the city! Listen to the noise coming from the temple! I am the one causing it. I am paying back my enemies for everything they have done.

這是耶和華報仇之日，為錫安伸冤的報應之年。

他說：「耶和華必從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷出聲；牧人的草場哀傷，迦密的山頂枯乾。」

他必按人的行為報應，惱怒他的敵人，報復他的仇敵，向眾海島施行報應。

且對人說：『你站開吧！不要挨近我，因為我對你來說太神聖了。』這些人惹我鼻中冒煙，如終日燃燒的火。看哪，這些都寫在我面前。我必不靜默，卻要施行報應，將你們和你們祖先的罪孽全都報應在後人身上；因為他們在山上燒香，在岡上褻瀆我，我要按他們先前所行的，報應在他們身上；這是耶和華說的。」
