But the Lord is a refuge for His people, And a stronghold for the sons of Israel.

For the Lord has a day of vengeance, A year of retribution for the cause of Zion.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

According to their deeds, so will He repay: Wrath to His adversaries, retribution to His enemies; To the coastlands He will deal retribution.

Who say,‘ Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their laps,Both your own wrongdoings and the wrongdoings of your fathers together,” says the Lord.“ Because they have burned incense on the mountains And scorned Me on the hills, Therefore I will measure their former work into their laps.”
