Hear the loud sounds coming from the city! Listen to the noise coming from the temple! I am the one causing it. I am paying back my enemies for everything they have done.

那麼你就看吧，我這就要激動他們離開你們所給賣到的地方，我也要將報應還歸你們頭上了。我必將你們的兒女賣在猶大人手中，猶大人必將他們賣給示巴人，賣到遠方之國：因為永恆主說了。』要在列國中宣告以下這話：要行聖禮準備爭戰，要激動勇士；一切戰士都要接戰，都要上陣。要將犂頭打成刀劍，將鐮刀打成為槍；軟弱的要說：『我是勇士。』四圍各方的列國啊，趕來救助，集合在一起吧！永恆主啊，叫你的勇士下來哦！列國務要振奮激動上約沙法谷哦；因為我要在那裏坐堂審判四圍各方列國了。伸出鐮刀割哦！因為莊稼熟了。進去踐踏哦！因為酒醡滿了。酒池盈溢着呢；因為他們的敗壞很大呀。喧天震地的陣陣羣眾在判決谷裏；因為永恆主的日子臨近了判決谷了。日月昏暗，星辰收回其光輝。永恆主從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發出聲音，天地就震動。但永恆主卻要做他人民的避難所，做以色列人的保障。

因為永恆主有伸冤的日子，為了錫安的案件有報應的年日。

他說：『永恆主從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷發出聲音，牧人的草場就悲哀，迦密的山頂就枯乾。』

他現在就要按人的行為而施報應，將烈怒加於他的敵人，將報罰加於他的仇敵，向沿海地帶施行報應。

他們對人說：『你在你那兒呆着吧！不要挨近我，因為我的「屬聖」會染着你。』主說：這些人是我鼻中的煙，是整天燒𤏲的火。看哪，這都寫在我面前，我必不靜坐不動，我乃要報應；我必施報應於他們兜裏，將他們的罪孽、和他們列祖的罪孽、都一概報罰：這是永恆主說的。因為他們在山上燻祭，在岡陵上褻瀆了我：我必將他們所行的量給他們，量在他們兜裏。』
