Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word:“ Your own people who hate you, and exclude you because of my name, have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy!’ Yet they will be put to shame.

因耶和华的话而战兢的人哪！你们要听他的话。他说：“你们的兄弟，就是那些憎恨你们、因我的名赶走你们的，曾说：‘愿耶和华得荣耀；让我们看见你们的喜乐。’他们却要蒙羞。

因耶和华的话语而战兢的人哪，你们要听他的话！他说：“你们的兄弟，就是那些恨恶你们、因我名的缘故逼迫你们的，曾说：‘愿耶和华得荣耀，好让我们看见你们的喜乐吧！’他们却必蒙羞。”

因耶和華的話而戰兢的人哪！你們要聽他的話。他說：“你們的兄弟，就是那些憎恨你們、因我的名趕走你們的，曾說：‘願耶和華得榮耀；讓我們看見你們的喜樂。’他們卻要蒙羞。

一聽見永恆主的話、就戰戰兢兢的人哪，你們聽永恆主的話吧！『你們的弟兄、那些恨惡你們、使你們為我名的緣故被趕逐的、曾譏笑說：「願永恆主得榮耀啊！讓我們看看你們的喜樂啊！」其實呢、蒙羞抱愧的倒是這種人呢！

因耶和華的話語而戰兢的人哪，你們要聽他的話！他說：「你們的兄弟，就是那些恨惡你們、因我名的緣故逼迫你們的，曾說：『願耶和華得榮耀，好讓我們看見你們的喜樂吧！』他們卻必蒙羞。」

緣耶和華言而戰慄者、尚其聽之、爾兄弟憾爾、緣我名而逐爾、曰、願耶和華獲榮、俾我見爾之樂、若人必蒙羞恥、

畏耶和華命者、當聽我言、爾兄弟憾爾、緣我名而棄爾、自以此為尊敬予、我必顯現、使爾欣喜、使敵愧怍。

爾曹畏主命者、當聽主言、爾兄弟憾爾、緣我名而棄爾、曰、願主彰顯榮光、使我儕得見爾之欣喜、彼如此言、必至蒙羞、曰願主彰顯榮光使我儕得見爾之欣喜彼如此言必至蒙羞或作自言以此歸榮於我我必使爾欣喜使彼愧怍

Listen to the word of the Lord. Listen, you who tremble with fear when he speaks. He says,“ Some of your own people hate you. They turn their backs on you because you are faithful to me. They make fun of you and say,‘ Let the Lord show his glory by saving you. Then we can see how happy you are.’ But they will be put to shame.

Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word:“ Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name’s sake have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy’; but it is they who shall be put to shame.

Hear this message from the Lord, all you who tremble at his words:“ Your own people hate you and throw you out for being loyal to my name.‘ Let the Lord be honored!’ they scoff.‘ Be joyful in him!’ But they will be put to shame.

You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the Lord:“ Your brothers who hate and exclude you because of Me have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified so that we can see your joy!’ But they will be put to shame.”

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Hear the word of the LORD, you who respect what he has to say! Your countrymen, who hate you and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of my name, say,“ May the LORD be glorified, then we will witness your joy.” But they will be put to shame.

Hear Yahweh’s word, you who tremble at his word:“ Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name’s sake, have said,‘ Let Yahweh be glorified, that we may see your joy;’ but it is those who shall be disappointed.

“ If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.Remember what I told you:‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

Has not my hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord.“ These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.

Those who repay my good with evil lodge accusations against me, though I seek only to do what is good.

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.“ Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

to those who say,“ Let God hurry; let him hasten his work so we may see it. The plan of the Holy One of Israel— let it approach, let it come into view, so we may know it.”

To this they replied,“ You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.

When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

Whoever scorns instruction will pay for it, but whoever respects a command is rewarded.

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.

Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother’s sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I had to neglect.

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.“ Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.

They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyonein their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.

“ I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth.And that is just what I did in Jerusalem. On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the Lord’s people in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble youand give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his mighton the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

“ Although you have been forsaken and hated, with no one traveling through, I will make you the everlasting pride and the joy of all generations.
