我命定你们归于刀剑，你们所有的人都将在屠杀中倒下。因为我呼唤，你们不回应；我说话，你们不听从；你们做我眼中看为恶的事，选择我所不喜悦的事。”

既然我呼唤了，你们拒绝，我伸出了手，没有人留心，

恶人所惧怕的必临到他，义人所渴望的必蒙应允。

所以他们将吃尽自己行为的果实，饱尝自己计谋的后果。要知道，无知人的背道将害死自己，愚昧人的安乐将毁了自己；

因为假基督们和假先知们会出现，行大神迹和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙拣选的人。

我就任凭他们心里顽固，随自己的计谋而行。

为什么我来的时候，没有人在呢？为什么我呼唤的时候，没有人回应呢？难道我的手臂太短不能救赎吗？难道我没有能力解救吗？看哪！我发出斥责，使海洋干涸，使河流成为旷野；其中的鱼因无水而发臭，因干渴而死去。

“天国好比一个君王，为自己的儿子预备婚宴。他派了奴仆们去叫那些被邀请的人前来赴宴，可是他们不肯来。王又派了别的奴仆，说：‘你们去对那些被邀请的人说，看哪，我的午餐我已经预备好了，公牛和肥畜已经宰杀了，一切都预备好了，请你们来赴婚宴。’“但那些人不理，就走开了，有的到自己的田里去，有的做自己的生意去。其余的竟抓住王的奴仆们，凌辱他们，并且把他们杀了。王就发怒，派军兵除灭那些凶手，烧毁了他们的城。

并且使用一切不义的诡计，因为他们不接受那能使他们得救的真理之爱。为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，好使所有不相信真理而喜悦不义的人，都被定罪。

这子民当着我的面不断地惹我恼怒，他们在园林里献祭，在砖头上烧香；
