他又把他的兒子用火燒為祭（“把他的兒子用火燒為祭”直譯是“使他的兒子經過進入火中”），並且算命、觀兆，交鬼和行巫術；多行耶和華看為惡的事，惹他發怒。

我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，沒有人理會。

惡人所怕的，必臨到他身上；義人所願的，必蒙應允。

現在，因你們行了這一切事，我不斷懇切告誡你們，你們卻不聽；我呼喚你們，你們卻不答話。”這是耶和華的宣告。

他行耶和華看為惡的事，好像耶和華在以色列人面前趕走的民族所行的可憎惡的事。

所以，他們必自食其果，必飽嘗自己所設計謀的傷害。愚蒙人的背道必殺害他們自己，愚昧人的安逸必毀滅他們自己；

米該雅說：“因此，你要聽耶和華的話；我看見耶和華坐在他的寶座上，天上的萬軍都侍立在他的左右。耶和華說：‘誰去引誘亞哈，使他上基列的拉末陣亡呢？’有說這樣的，有說那樣的。後來有一個靈出來，站在耶和華面前，說：‘我去引誘他。’耶和華問他：‘你用甚麼方法呢？’他回答：‘我要出去，在亞哈所有先知的口中，作說謊的靈。’耶和華說：‘你可以去引誘他，你也必能成功，你去這樣行吧！’現在，耶和華已經把說謊的靈放在你這些先知的口中，耶和華已經命定災禍臨到你。”

因為必有假基督和假先知出現，顯大神蹟和奇事；如果可以的話，他們連選民也要迷惑。

因此，我就任憑他們心裡剛硬，隨著自己的計謀行事。

為甚麼我來的時候，沒有人在呢？為甚麼我呼喚的時候，沒有人答應呢？難道我的手太軟弱不能救贖嗎？或是我沒有能力拯救嗎？看哪！我以斥責使海乾涸，我使江河變成曠野，江河的魚因無水發臭，因乾渴而死。

“天國好像一個王，為兒子擺設婚筵。他派僕人去叫被邀請的人來參加婚筵。但他們不肯來。他再派另一些僕人去，說：‘你們告訴被邀請的人，我已經預備好了筵席，公牛和肥畜已經宰了，一切都預備妥當。來參加婚筵吧！’但那些人卻不理會就走了；有的去耕田，有的去作買賣，其餘的抓住王的僕人，凌辱他們，並且把他們殺了。王就發怒，派兵消滅那些兇手，焚毀他們的城。

並且在那些沉淪的人身上，行各樣不義的欺詐，因為他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。因此，神就使錯謬的思想運行在他們當中，讓他們相信虛謊，叫所有不信真理倒喜愛不義的人，都被定罪。

這人民常常當面惹我發怒，在園中獻祭，在磚壇上燒香，
