不過，你們是被揀選的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神聖的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要使你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為神聖的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

但你們要稱為「耶和華的祭司」，稱作「我們上帝的僕人」。你們必享用列國的財物，必承受他們的財富。

你們作為活石，要被建造成屬靈的殿，成為聖潔的祭司，藉着耶穌基督獻上蒙上帝悅納的屬靈祭物。

又使我們成為國度，作他父上帝的祭司。願榮耀、權能歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

在頭一次復活有份的有福了，聖潔了！第二次的死在他們身上沒有權柄，但他們要作上帝和基督的祭司，也要與基督一同作王一千年。

又使他們成為國民和祭司，歸於我們的上帝；他們將在地上執掌王權。」

你要對君王和太后說：「你們當自卑，坐下；因你們的王冠，就是你們華美的冠冕已經掉落了。」尼革夫的城鎮都被關閉，無人打開；猶大全被擄掠，擄掠淨盡。你們要舉目觀看從北方來的人。先前賜給你的羊羣，就是你所引以為榮的羊，現今在哪裏呢？耶和華立你自己所教導的盟友，立他們為頭來轄制你，你還有甚麼話可說呢？痛苦豈不將你抓住像臨產的婦人嗎？你若心裏說：「這一切的事為何臨到我呢？」是因你罪孽甚多。你的下襬揭起，你的腳跟受傷。
