For with fire and with his sword the Lord will execute judgment on all people, and many will be those slain by the Lord.

The Lord will judge with fire and with his sword. He will judge all people. He will put many people to death.

And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that[ is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and[ to] the beasts of the field to be devoured.Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken[ it], saith the Lord GOD.And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not[ let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I[ am] the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this[ is] the day whereof I have spoken.And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down[ any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.For[ it is] the day of the LORD’S vengeance,[ and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him[ was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.His eyes[ were] as a flame of fire, and on his head[ were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.And he[ was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.And the armies[ which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.And he hath on[ his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all[ men, both] free and bond, both small and great.And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which[ sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
