LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Rejoice, O ye nations,[ with] his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land,[ and] to his people.

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever[ in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done[ it]: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for[ his] mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

How amiable[ are] thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young,[ even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.Blessed[ are] they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

And I will give[ power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred[ and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.And their dead bodies[ shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.The second woe is past;[ and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly.And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become[ the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
