耶和華這樣說：“天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳；你們要在哪裡為我建造殿宇呢？怎樣的地方才是我安息的所在呢？”

耶和华如此说：“天是我的座位；地是我的脚凳。你们要为我造何等的殿宇？哪里是我安息的地方呢？”

耶和华如此说：“天是我的座位；地是我的脚凳。你们能为我造怎样的殿宇呢？哪里是我安歇的地方呢？

耶和华说：“天是我的宝座，地是我的脚凳，你们要为我造怎样的殿宇？哪里可作我的安歇之处？

耶和华这样说：“天是我的宝座，地是我的脚凳；你们要在哪里为我建造殿宇呢？怎样的地方才是我安息的所在呢？”

耶和华如此说：“天是我的宝座，地是我的脚凳。你们要为我建造的殿宇在哪里呢？我安歇的地方在哪里呢？”

永恆主這麼說：『天是我的座位，地是我的腳凳；你們要在哪裏為我建殿呢？哪裏是我安居所的地方呢？

耶和華如此說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我建造的殿宇在哪裡呢？我安歇的地方在哪裡呢？」

耶和華曰、天乃我坐位、地乃我足几、爾將為我建若何之室、以何地為我安息之所乎、

耶和華曰、天乃我坐位、地乃我足凳、爾曹何殿以容我、何地以安我乎。

主如是云、天乃我之寶座、地乃我之足凳、爾曹可為我建何殿、我駐蹕之所、可在何地、

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?

The Lord says,“ Heaven is my throne. The earth is under my control. So how could you ever build a house for me? Where would my resting place be?

Thus says the Lord:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that? Could you build me such a resting place?

This is what the LORD says: Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool. Where could you possibly build a house for me? And where would my resting place be?

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is My throne and the earth is the footstool for My feet. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?

Thus says the Lord:“ Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest?

This is what the Lord says: Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house could you possibly build for Me? And what place could be My home?

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven[ is] my throne, and the earth[ is] my footstool: where[ is] the house that ye build unto me? and where[ is] the place of my rest?

This is what the LORD says:“ The heavens are my throne and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I will rest?

Yahweh says,“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?

可是我告訴你們，總不可發誓，不可指著天發誓，因為天是神的寶座；不可指著地發誓，因為地是神的腳凳；不可指著耶路撒冷發誓，因為它是大君王的京城；

其實至高者並不住人手所造的，正如先知說：‘主說：天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳，你們要為我建造怎樣的殿呢？哪裡是我安息的地方呢？這一切不都是我手所造的嗎？’

“神真的住在地上嗎？看哪！天和天上的天尚且不能容納你，何況我建造的這殿呢？

創造宇宙和其中萬有的神，既然是天地的主，就不住在人手所造的殿宇，

“我們要進入他的居所，在他的腳凳前下拜。

我們的祖先在這山上敬拜神，而你們卻說，敬拜的地方必須在耶路撒冷。”耶穌說：“婦人，你應當信我，時候將到，那時你們敬拜父，不在這山上，也不在耶路撒冷。

“你去對我的僕人大衛說：耶和華這樣說：‘你要建造一座殿宇給我居住嗎？因為自從我把以色列人從埃及帶上來的那天起，直到今日，我都沒有住過殿宇。我一直都住在帳棚和會幕裡，到處漂泊。我與以色列眾人一起走過的地方，我可曾對以色列的一個支派的官長，就是我所吩咐要牧養我子民以色列的，說：你們為甚麼不給我建造一座香柏木的殿宇呢？’

耶和華在他的聖殿裡，耶和華的寶座在天上，他的眼睛觀看，他的目光察驗世人。

你們不要倚靠虛謊的話，說：‘這是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿，是耶和華的殿。’如果你們實在改正自己的所作所為，人與人之間認真施行公正；如果你們不欺壓寄居的，不欺壓孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不跟從別的神，自招禍患；我就讓你們在賜給你們列祖直到永遠的這地方居住。“可是，你們竟然倚靠虛謊無益的話。你們怎可偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、起假誓、向巴力燒香，跟從你們素不認識的別神，然後來到這稱為我名下的殿，站在我面前，說：‘我們安全啦！’你們這樣就可以行這一切可憎的事嗎？這稱為我名下的殿，難道在你們眼中看為賊窩嗎？但我都看見了。”這是耶和華的宣告。

大衛王站起來，說：“我的兄弟，我的人民哪，你們要聽我的話；我心裡有意要建造一所安放耶和華的約櫃的殿宇，作我們的神的腳凳，並且我已經準備好要建造。

指著聖所起誓的，就是指著聖所和住在那裡的神起誓；指著天起誓的，就是指著神的寶座和坐在寶座上的起誓。

“神真的要和人住在地上嗎？看哪，天和天上的天也容不下你，何況我建造的這殿呢？

你們要尊崇耶和華我們的神，在他的聖山上敬拜，因為耶和華我們的神是聖潔的。

他對門徒說：“你們不是看見了這一切嗎？我實在告訴你們，將來在這裡必沒有一塊石頭留在另一塊石頭上面，每一塊都要拆下來。”

萬軍之耶和華說：“從日出到日落的地方，我的名在列國中為大；在各處都有人向我的名燒香，獻上潔淨的禮物，因為我的名在列國中為大。”
