永恆主這麼說：『人怎樣從葡萄嘟嚕中取得新酒，而說：「不要毁它，因為有讓人蒙祝福的因素在那裏面」，我因我僕人的緣故也必照樣而行，不將他們全都毁滅。

耶和華如此說：「當新酒在累累葡萄中被發現時，人怎樣說：『不要毀滅它，因為有祝福在其中』，我也要怎樣做——為我僕人們的緣故，不把一切都毀滅。

耶和華曰、葡萄纍然、可釀新酒、或曰、勿壞之、福在其中、我緣我僕之故、亦必如是、免其盡滅、

耶和華又曰、葡萄成纍、可釀新酒、人皆曰、葡萄之中、汁漿嘉美、勿壞之、予也眷顧我僕、不忍殲滅、亦此意耳。

主如是云、葡萄果有汁、人皆曰、勿壞之、蓋美在其中、我緣我僕之故、不盡殲滅亦若是、

This is what the Lord says:“ As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and people say,‘ Don’t destroy it, there is still a blessing in it,’ so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all.

The Lord says,“ Sometimes juice is still left in grapes that have been crushed. So people say,‘ Don’t destroy them.’ They are still of some benefit.” That is what I will do for the good of those who serve me. I will not destroy all my people.

Thus says the Lord:“ As the new wine is found in the cluster, and they say,‘ Do not destroy it, for there is a blessing in it,’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, and not destroy them all.

“ But I will not destroy them all,” says the Lord.“ For just as good grapes are found among a cluster of bad ones( and someone will say,‘ Don’t throw them all away— some of those grapes are good!’), so I will not destroy all Israel. For I still have true servants there.

The LORD says this:“ As the new wine is found in a bunch of grapes, and one says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for there’s some good in it,’ so I will act because of my servants and not destroy them all.

This is what the Lord says:“ Just as the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says,‘ Do not destroy it, for there is benefit in it,’ So I will act in behalf of My servants In order not to destroy all of them.

Thus says the Lord:“ As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says,‘ Do not destroy it, For a blessing is in it,’ So will I do for My servants’ sake, That I may not destroy them all.

Thus saith Jehovah, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.

The Lord says this: As the new wine is found in a bunch of grapes, and one says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for there’s some good in it,’ so I will act because of My servants and not destroy them all.

Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and[ one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing[ is] in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

This is what the LORD says:“ When juice is discovered in a cluster of grapes, someone says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for it contains juice.’ So I will do for the sake of my servants– I will not destroy everyone.

Yahweh says,“ As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so I will do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.

現在的情況也是一樣，上帝按照揀選的恩典留下了少數人。既然說是出於恩典，就不再基於行為，不然恩典就不再是恩典了。

即使境內只剩下十分之一的人，也必被消滅。然而，就像砍掉松樹和橡樹後必留下樹墩，這地方必有聖潔的苗裔存留下來。」

如果不縮短那段時期，恐怕沒有一人能活命。但上帝必為祂選民的緣故，而縮短那災期。

關於以色列人，以賽亞先知曾疾呼：「以色列人雖多如海沙，但得救的只是剩餘的人，因為上帝要在世上迅速、徹底地執行祂的判決。」以賽亞又說：「若不是萬軍之主給我們存留後裔，我們早就像所多瑪和蛾摩拉一樣滅亡了。」

因為我與你們同在，要拯救你們。這是耶和華說的。我要徹底毀滅列國，就是我曾使你們流亡的地方。但我不會徹底毀滅你們，也不會饒過你們，我必公正地懲治你們。」

如果主不縮短災期，恐怕沒有人能活命，但為了祂所揀選的子民，祂已經縮短災期。

你這從野生的橄欖樹上砍下來的枝子，尚且可以違反自然，被接到好橄欖樹上，何況原來的枝子被接回到原來的樹上呢？弟兄姊妹，我不願意你們對以下這奧祕一無所知，還自以為聰明。這奧祕就是：雖然有些以色列人的心剛硬，但等到外族人得救的數目滿了以後，全以色列都要得救。正如聖經上說：「救主必從錫安出來，祂將除去雅各子孫的罪惡。

主耶和華的眼目察看這罪惡的國家，我要從地上除滅它，但不會完全毀滅雅各家。這是耶和華說的。「因為我要下令在列國中篩以色列家，就像人篩穀物，一粒石子也不會落在地上。

誰知道呢？或許祂轉念心生憐憫，給你們留下祝福，使你們可以再次向你們的上帝耶和華獻上素祭和奠祭。
